Those who went for prem ratan did injustice to Indian cinema while Tamasha was showing in the next screen. It's much better than any of those khan movies earning 100+ crore.
Its a good time pass movie to watch on a lazy sunday afternoon. Kids will love it. Its a futuristic movie with characters and technologies from a future world. The name of the futuristic city is also fictitious- SanFriskiyo. The story has a nice twist and a good climax you will like. 3D effects are ordinary although.
Spoiler alert, since you already read the title of my review.... The movie has nothing new to offer. Action scenes are straight from 80's bond movies. You can watch it if u dont get tickets for interstellar, and you don't want to go home from the theatre. Salman khan would have made this movie a 200 Crore hit in india. But Keanu is no Salman. And yes I forgot, this movie looks like a 2 hour advertisement for Raymonds Suitings. The complete (hit) man.
Before the Cojuring, there was Anabelle and after Anabelle there will be Jessabelle. The genre is becoming more and more popular these days. Think rationally - the ROI of a horror movie is as good as the ROI of a central university in India. As a film producer, u just need a few defunct articles, cranky doors, lots of white clothes and one good actor. The camera angles and background score will do all the work. In the end you would generate more money than a star studded movie shot at expensive locations. As an engineer I like the idea of high ROI and hence the movie.
What would happen if a Bollywood script writer takes his script to Hollywood and the airport security confiscates all the "masala" in his script. Typical Bollywood romantic story - rich girl and poor guy and you know what else.... But there is a good screenplay around the story. At one time I felt the movie is heading towards a disastrous climax, but it was kind of OK in the end. I am not a movie critic, I am just a spectator hence I would say it is a well told story and a good theme. Do take your girlfriend along, and some tissue paper.
The trailer and posters of the movie indicated that this movie is about the assassination of AMY(Rosamund Pike) by her husband, NICK(Ben Affleck ). But surprisingly the story takes an interesting turn at half time and the surprises keep pouring in in the second half. This movie can qualify as a psychological thriller, a story which will keep you glued to your seats and show the other side of each character. Sometimes you may wonder who the protagonist of the movie is! Neil Patrick Harris also shows us the brief glimpses of his flaunt all you got attitude from HIMYM. The best part of the movie is the portrayal of the media and the society, which can be easily manipulated in the modern times by intelligent people. I would recommend this movie for its excellent flow and background score. What a relief after movies like Anabelle and Happy New Year!!
