It is an extremely indulging series that will make you think about the way you knowingly or unknowingly treat others which might hurt them psychologically later. The story might not have been that powerful, had it not been told the way it is. This story telling is the power of the series to be among the top rated shows of netflix. Hannah Baker is a student in Liberty High who has gone through a lot of humiliation in her school and ultimately succumbs to the pressure and suicides. She leaves 13 tapes recorded in her voice. Each tape consists of one person that has been the reason to her ending her life. Once you start watching, you are drawn to know what happens next. The series is spooky and dark, maybe because obviously the tale is told by a dead girl's recording. Overall it is worth a watch and you are never going to regret it later.
Life is right- is what the title says, but the lives of the four characters are screwed up in the most funniest ways possible. The story is about four bachelors/ friends dwelling together and bonded with bro-code. It depicts the funny moments going on in their everyday lives and how effortlessly they deal with it. I honestly enjoyed this show so much and felt that the makers shouldn't have stopped at just five episodes. The series has very catchy and double-meaning punch lines. It somewhat reminds you of the similar youthful entertaining bollywood film installments of Pyaar ka punchnama. Afterall, it is from the same production banner. All in all, I loved it and believe no matter how life is but- Life sahi hai !
The series revolves around two girls Dingo and Khanney (that's what they lovingly call each other). They are the best of friends and share an ultimate level of friendship. It bursts the thought bubble of people always wondering why do the ladies gang up while visiting the rest room and who are always curious to know what actually cooks up in the ladies rest room? Well, it is an absolute girly thing to have nonsense and extremely philosophical talks that Dingo and Khanney are up to all the time. The subjects of discussion could be anything and everything ranging from relationships to office work load, pregnancy test to abortion; and how these thick of friends stick with each other as a stout support. It is a light comic entertainment celebrating womanhood and shouting aloud every talks that are otherwise hush- hush in the world outside of ladies room.
Arnab Goswami is one of his kind, and surely we all may love him or hate him but can never ignore him. And boy did we all miss him after he left the channel to make a blingy comeback! TVF's attempt at taking a dig on; or paying a humorous tribute to this prime time anchor is commendable. It does no huge harm though, apart from mild roasting of celebrities in some of the episodes. My personal favorite is the one with Arvind Kejriwal (yes, the actual one; also featuring Jeetu). Biswapati nailed his acting as Arnub; i.e., Arnab with a U! Season 2 is equally humorous. I loved it and so did most of the audience. You are definitely going to love it even if you don't know who Arnab is.
It is a regular feelgood story of three friends trying to start some prt-time business along with their college studies and how they are caught in huge melodramas and misadventures at times. These characters are the usual ones you might collide in college campus or the nearest chai tapri. The series felt very realistic in terms of the characters and makes the audience glued with each passing episode. Baked is one of its kind and quite a competition for its similars. It doesn't disappoint at all, if you don't keep high expectations. Eventually I went on to watch season 2 too. Therefore, it is worth a watch and I recommend it to all.
A friend (huge Barun Sobti fan) had suggested me to watch this web-series. I thought of giving it a shot nonetheless. Not absolutely disappointed but, I guess it is not in my most favourite ones. The acting of the cast (except Surbhi) was unsatisfatory and it mostly felt like a typical soap opera. The story deals with two strangers who meet in a wedding of mutual friends and discover how they are connected to each other's lives and how unaware they had been. They eventually fall for each other only to abstain later. The story is showcased beautifully with mesmerizing wedding and partying occasion. The series is definitely treat to watch because of the beautiful pompous dances, shimmering lehengas, gorgeous-looking ladies and stunning men with special mention of shayaris of the male lead. And yes, did it remind of Yeh jawaani hai deewani! All in all, it felt a good choice if you want a heartfelt emotional bollywood sort of drama.
TVF had touched the epitome of popularity long back, but after Pitchers, the connection with the audience has become a strong emotional one. The majority of audience for TVF is undoubtedly youth. And hence it was obvious for Pitchers to be a huge hit. I felt the web-series was decently sketched, nothing exaggerated, clever puns and great comic timings. The cherry on the cake being the excellent character portrayal of the cast. Every detailing and dialogue throughout the series deserves a round of applause. The background score carved out a niche for itself and I won't mind downloading theme song and seting up as a ringtone! I loved TVF Pitchers; and that is an under-statement.
Alisha is a fun filled, girly web-series spun with suspense and adventurous plot. I am definitely going to recommend this to all. I feel it is highly under-rated, maybe because it has relatively lesser target audience due to its presence in a women-eccentric youtube channel-Blush. But seriously, it has some thought -provoking dialogues and amazing screenplay. I loved watching Alisha till the end without ever feeling bored. To all the fashion loving girls out there, this is an absolute thriller and a must watch. The best remedy when you are feeling low; this web-series gives immense boost to self-confidence, encouraging you to believe that you can conquer the world with Watson by your side!
This series is a perfect combination of comedy, adventure and 'bhai-behen ka never ending pyaar' (pun-intended). The stories are relatable to everyday lives and strike a chord with the audience easily. All the performances are pleasing and look natural. The characters of Chandan and Chitvan steal the limelight. Overall it is a beautiful portrayal of typical siblings and the emotional bond they share together in a backdrop of light humor.
