It's a good series with surreal story and surrounding but bears the weight of many cliches unlike it's other competitions. The story follows life of Spandan Chukya, a small town guy with dreams sky high, lands up in Mumbai and joins as an intern in an MNC where he soon realizes that corporate life wasn't anything like what he learnt in his MBA. The series follows his life as an intern, where his morals, ideals and willpower gets tested at each step and the ways in which he handles all of it in a quest to be in the game. Every character has been designed and written very neatly, and by the end of the series, you are guaranteed to adore at least two or three of them. It's a beautifully written and scripted show but lacks in gripping the audience because of it's predictable and cliched turns with no unforgettable moments. But the plus point of the series is it's realness of the corporate world and the acting talent of artists like Gopal Datt and Sunny kaushal.
Verdict- If this is your first Indian mini-series then you will love it but as you watch more series then you will forget this.

Ragini MMS Returns is a series trying very hard to maintain its horrex (Horror and sex) genre but in the end just remains as a soft porn with minimal horror in it. The show starts with Ragini aka Karishma Sharma (student) and mom Delnaaz Irani (lecturer) move in. She is scared by the college gang, but ends up seeing the real red sari clad evil spirit. Karishma performs well as the modern carefree gal (smoking, drinking and make out) and also brings out the fear/ confusion as the solo figure who can see the ghost. The creatives have openly showed girl locker talk which is explicit. Football jock lead guy (Siddharth Gupta), who had once casually made out with one of the college babes Sonia (Katie Iqbal), is now smitten by Ragini. But the above girl can’t get over him and even sleeps with the college ass as a means to blow steam. She also gets a CD which shows Ragini in action with another guy. There is liberal use of love making scenes, skin show and use of cuss words. The show has all the correct cinematographic and sound elements of classic horror. There is less use of actual horror, but the fear is palpable.
Verdict- if you like very hot and steamy scenes with lots of skin show and doesn't mind some horror, then this series is definitely for you. Even though being one of it's kind, the series bring nothing new to the table except for sex.

Gehraiyaan, directed by Sidhant Sachdev is a perfect blend of mystery, thrill, spook and fear overloaded. Filmmaker Vikram Bhatt is pushing the pedal on wooing digital audiences. Sanjeeda’s character Reyna exudes fear and terror while her surgeon boyfriend is at her side to help her face the forces of the dark. The twist in the tale is the emergence of her mysterious neighbor Sahil played by Vatsal who comes to her rescue. Even though the series goes with same bollywood horror genre of adding the element of love in it, but despite this it weaves that cliche quite well into the series. The acting skills of veteran Sanjeeda Sheik can be seen very well in the series with good developments in the characters of others. But the main USP of the show is it's horror, which actually is spine chilling and is definitely for people with feint heart.
Verdict- A must watch for the daredevils who loves the horror genre.

From the power house known as TVF for the first time comes a sub-par series. Neetu Bisht, the protagonist in “Bisht Please” portrayed by the brilliant Nidhi Bisht (casting director in TVF) is a simple girl, often taunted for being average and uninteresting from everyone, right from her live-in boyfriend to her one sole friend in the world. She goes through her life facing the consequences of being too nice and too good. She cannot confront her cheating boyfriend, she cannot refuse when extra work is dumped on her, she cannot even refuse to help her friend although she is in no state to do that. She cannot even win an argument with a security guard and that’s not because of lack of trying. Nidhi is her natural best here and she is ably supported by a very talented supporting cast. The direction is similar to all the other TVF series, which is definitely a compliment. I particularly loved how the lead enters some arguments assuming stereotypes only to have them shattered and turned on her. It was a nice touch. But all said unlike it's predecessors like Pitchers and Tripling, the show feels sloppy and unreal at many points and had too many forced humor which is unlikely of TVF.
Verdict: Watch for the brilliant acting of Nidhi Bisht and Amol Parashar, inspiring dialogues and monologues. It's an okay series with many faults and burden of being as good as it's predecessors.

Viraj Yadav reviewed FLAMES
The Timeliner's Flames is a cute, adorable, and at times cringe(but in a good way) series. Its a reminiscent of may peoples teenage when we all had a high school or tuition classes crush to whom we never could talk or express our feelings to. This series is all that and more. The story revolves around teenage love, heartbreak and will soon transport you to the days when getting a cursory nod from your crush meant the world. The writers tries to tap into the 90's nostalgia of every adult, with songs and Easter eggs from every 90's romantic movie, which seems manipulative at times as the series is clearly set in the present days. The acting talent of the young cast is commendable. Whatever trick used by the writers though, the show does do a good work of making viewers take a trip down in memory lane.

Verdict: A good series for living the nostalgic times again with some good humor, but with forgettable supporting cast and sub-par cinematography . A one time Watch.

Viraj Yadav reviewed Baked
Baked is one of those series which is just fun to watch. It's the story of misadventures of three college roommates and their "great" entrepreneurial idea, which involves opening a late night food delivery service. The series catches up great on the lives of most of the college students with its different themes like approaching your crush, partying, bullying, and trying to make a name for yourself in the cut throat world. But it catches the nerve of every audience with the ultimate holy dream of almost every college going students i.e. Opening a business with your best friend. While the series also tackles some social issues like drugs, homosexuality, bullying, suicide, and corruption, but always ends it in a light and humorous manner. Even though a good series its surely have its cons like, many scenes feel unreal and added just for forced humor, most of the character are just generic, with no real development in their character, including one of the main three protagonist (Talking about Body here), the scripting and direction also feels sloppy sometimes. Even with its minor flaws my overall verdict is that it's a good series with a lot of humor and should be given a chance if you just want to pass your time watching something funny.

TVF is surely on a roll with their one after another banger web series. This time they have stuck a chord with the viewers with series in form of interview format. This show is a satirical parody on the infamous news reporter Arunb Goswami and takes a dark and funny way of copying him while interviewing celebrities and politicians. The show has achieved quite a feats with inviting and interviewing celebrity and politicians like Shahrukh Khan, Arvind Kejriwal , and many more. The show goes strong on the interviewees asking them some really embarrassing and controversial questions still maintaining its hilarious sides. The real highlight of the show is Biswapati sarkar who has done a stupendous job portraying Arnub and has delivered the dialogues very well. This is one those offbeat and hilarious show which should be watched by audiences at least once.

TVF's Bachelor is the first of it's kind web series. It's a parody series which incorporates different movie stories into the life of Bachelors. The series is hilarious, fast paced, witty and downright humorous. The series revolves around Four Bachelor Flatmates who in every episode will deal with a specific daily life bachelor related problem, let it be dry day, or the problem of cooking food etc.The casting of new and young cast gives the series a fresh and new outtake on the plethora of available series to watch. Even though the story line of each new episode is based on some famous movie but the unpredictability and the way of knitting that story into the situation, is what makes the series fun and a must watch. Despite some bits of directional and dialogue delivering set backs which are surely ignorable, the series is a sure banger.

This show is one those few shows in which the plot is realistic with perfect dose of subtle comedy and strong emotions. The script is nothing short of brilliant. The way series builds up from first episode is phenomenal. The lead characters share a great chemistry and compliment each other really well. Its a story about a boy and a girl discovering love out of a long distance relationship and eventually getting to the point of marriage. Mikesh is sort of an "egg head" and Tanya is the more mature and smarter one. After three years of long distance relationship suddenly Mikesh proposes to Tanya for marriage which in turn creates confusion between the two. And the couple somehow manages with the baggage of their decision. Season one is more funny and reasonable. It is more compact in its storytelling. Season two also share the same theme, but it is more dramatic. The plot is a little bit loose and focuses more on the human elements and values of family, society, and culture. But overall season 2 ends on a great note leaving us wanting more. Vaibhav Bundhoo once again has worked his magic with his musical talent, and has created some really mesmerizing and amazing track. The real MVP's are the writers who have created a story so simple yet so compelling and engaging without getting boring or feeling stretched at any point if time.
