Movie had a hard challenge to live up to . But unfortunately it is utterly difficult to live up to level of Nolan's work. And it fails. Even the costume, bike, bat mobile nothing was even close to beauty of Dark knight trilogy. Even with slow pace of movie, I was not able to route for the bat and the cat romance .

Plot is interesting. But i didn't like how it ends (personal opinion).
Preity Zinta's tom boy role in first half of movie was well performed. Best thing about this movie is how cute and inocent Mahima Chaudhary looked 😍.
Songs are good.

A budding director tries to research a merciless gangster for making a film on gangster-ism. But her secret attempts to conduct the research fail when she gets caught for snooping.
Idea about reasearching & making a movie of gangster was good as premise and had a potential for both drama and comedy. But this movie does not give it justice.
Movie much depends on its background soundtrack for any of its success.
Akshay's performance is good and his makeover with stone eye is awesome. Arshad Warsi's potential is wasted as he was being constantly pushed towards side role. Surprisingly Pankaj Tripathi's performance is dull too. May be he is just not suited for Gujarati role.
Many unexplained loopholes in plot.
Twist at the end was utterly stupid and its justification was dog shit .
Well we should just throw out our negativity as Like Guruji Pankaj Tripathi teaches us... Aaa Thuu!

Let's hear some lines from critics :-
TOI - It's an interesting plot line but sadly we have seen it all in trailer that pretty much revels the entire story. Even with grandiosity and star power this one only manages to entertain in bits and pieces.
GreatAndhra- In the final act, factors such as Bachchan's love life with Sophie (Jacqueline Fernandez), who's killed, the betrayal by his boss (Mohan Agashe), and his mother (Seema Biswas), who has stopped speaking to him for the past 10 years, appear to be forced attempts to add melodrama, and evoke sympathy for Pandey. These only lengthen the film, apart from not being in sync with Pandey's character and the flavour of the plot, and drag the film down by several notches in one go. Pankaj Tripathi as Bhavesh, an acting instructor from Gujarat, is extremely disappointing, with his over-the-top act and contrived Gujarati accent.
