A budding director tries to research a merciless gangster for making a film on gangster-ism. But her secret attempts to conduct the research fail when she gets caught for snooping. Idea about reasearching & making a movie of gangster was good as premise and had a potential for both drama and comedy. But this movie does not give it justice. Movie much depends on its background soundtrack for any of its success. Akshay's performance is good and his makeover with stone eye is awesome. Arshad Warsi's potential is wasted as he was being constantly pushed towards side role. Surprisingly Pankaj Tripathi's performance is dull too. May be he is just not suited for Gujarati... |
