Maria Ray reviewed Whiplash
Damien Chazelle's one of the very best. According to me, Whiplash is a motion picture which sets an example in Hollywood and all other film industries. The incredible combination of Chazelle's screenplay and Simmon's acting produced one of the very impeccably connected films in this decade. As the audience is made to believe that this is a usual 'teacher to student relationship' movie where the instructor is primarily and apparently abusive, aggressive to the student but is later revealed to be one of the noblest intentions with some heart rendering affectionate scenes between the two. As the conclusion in the picture, they were absolutely received as the movie progresses with bewildering twists. The director successfully get on to manipulate the elements of life which include an aspiring student's ambitions to address his needs and wants practically to churn out his approaches to his career, education and also love. Chazelle's masterpiece is a must watch and is such a film which should inspire more people to be made of this genre. I give this film a bang on 5 on 5.

This movie evokes many disparate emotions throughout its duration from the starting till the end. The bond between the two "untouchable" characters bloom in magnificence as the movie progresses and you just can't resist but smile as it happens. Backed by Enaudi's stirring, heartwarming music, this movie was set from its very beginning to leave the audience to grasp for themselves what it means to shed tears of joy. The only regret I have is that I can't go back in time and feel everything what they are actually showing, all over again.

The story line of this movie is a blurred rhapsody of images depicting the lives of two couples living in adjacent apartments. Su-Lizhen and Chow Mo-wan find their spouses having a relationship, and under these painful circumstances they come closer. While they keep their relationship platonic, to prove that they are a bit different from their unfaithful lovers, there is an undercurrent of longing in both of them.
Written and Directed by Wang Kar Wai ; Language
Chinese ; Photographer Christopher Doyle ; This movie is the second one of an informal trilogy - the other two being Days Of Being Wild (1991) and 2046 (2004). It's good to watch only if you are actually bored with other works.

The animation is really done well. The colors are somewhat toned down which is great for this setting that shows a unique appearance. The design of the characters is as great as usual and it is overall pretty to look at.
Presto is one of the best Pixar’s newer shorts with excellent animation, funny characters, charming humor and it is a nice throwback to the classic cartoons of yesterday. please watch it, you won't regret.

The series is sweet and simple. I think this is one of my favorite part about it, the web series doesn't try to solve world problems or women inequality. It just portrays them as it is in a very fun and humorous way.
Also, the way of narration from a normal and aspiring girl done in a very suitable way was pleasantly satisfying. The cast was effective and even the supporting actor had passion and weren't one toned. Every episode packs a punch, with many witty dialogues, fun plots and thankfully no overacting, (over drama) and no cringe love story. This web series is funny, and it will always leave you in chuckles and totally worthy of binge watching.

This movie is absolutely marvelous! totally based on the real life story, this movie is beautifully narrated and presented in chapters. Initial chapters focus on character build-up of every main character, the middle ones are based on massive drug empire and how it affects personal lives of each character, and not the least the last ones include typical gang rivalry and rise of the narrator of the movie as a daring & successful photographer. To see overall, it's just a delight to watch.
This is the best foreign film of it's genre and I think in general that I've seen. Excellent directing, screenplay, cinematography, acting and setting. The film explores in depth the slums of Rio De Janeiro during the 1970's. The film revolves around two main characters who are products of their environment that choose two completely different paths in life. Their childhood friendship keeps them connected throughout the film's plot and comes full circle in the end it goes really awesome when watched. Based on true events this film left a long lasting impression to this day. It is a unique film and the co-directors are a masterpiece. It's a true work of art that deals with the harsh realities of life.

In 1930s' Manchuria, an encounter on a train triggers an epic crusade for a treasure map, prompting a marathon chase in hot pursuit of the loot. Do-won,`the good', is a bounty hunter, out to track down Chang-yee,`the bad', a charismatic hitman attempting to pinch the map from a military official. However, the ruthless Tae-goo puts a hitch in both their plans when he snaffles the map for himself.
This is an awesome movie, I had declared it as one of my favourite movies before it was even over. Huge crush on the 'Bad'. The 'Good' had an awesome hat and scarf combo, which is anyways always good. Fight scenes are epic. Watch this film, you won't regret it. must try!

Maria Ray reviewed Spotlight
Spotlight is about a team of specialist journalists who investigated a claim about pedophilia and
molestation against one priest, which quickly unravels to become a scandal on a national and a global level, and which involves many more priests than anyone could have possibly imagined

In an overall thought: Wow. It's such a thought-provoking movie, which reflects the struggle that people who have been abused endures in the fight to make known the sad truth. The acting was strong, particularly from Rachel McAdams (Sacha Pfeiffer) and from Mark Ruffalo (Michael Rezendes).

In particular- One thing that stood out for me was how realistic the movie appeared to be in that, it was almost like the viewer was being told that the story was on hold, and we could feel the emotions. Thanks to the amazing acting from every cast member.

I highly recommend watching this amazing film. It's a different type of film and, if you are like me, you'll contemplate not watching it after reading the description but after watching it, you'll be glad you did.

I recently saw this flick of a movie after seeing the trailer. Thinking about the subject matter was a bit different. I was eager to see how it turned out and I was pleased overall.
To conclude, this movie was an enjoyable watch. I was pleased as well as shocked to see "Bollywood" trying something different in this genre and not coming up short. I would probably rate it 8.5 or so / 10.
I am interested to see only those movies having good content. In a mainstream Bollywood movies, which dominates the Box Office collections are found to be the movies having no creative content at all. This types of series of movies started From late 90s which are also responsible for demeaning the movies having good content. Recently, Javed Akhttar a renowned poet, lyricist in a YouTube Show said that some kinds of good content movies have started to emanate within the time span of 2 whole years which are focussing on the realistic content rather than the superstar hegemony.I second his statement because I too believe that the year 2017 and 2018 witnessed many good "Bollywood" movies having good content and also rocked the Box office Collection.

After a long time I was satisfied watching a Hindi Movie and enjoying it thoroughly, this movie has surely created history. Usually when I do go to the theatre to watch a Hindi movie. I leave my brains outside the theatre, and well get ready to get entertained, in the filmy way.
Lagaan has gone off to a great start. Hopefully he can produce more and more of movies like Lagaan. Well I must say I was very impressed by the way the story of the movie progressed. Believe me, my friends were laughing when they heard that the movie was about a cricket match but my friends could not help but applaud the way the movie was made, each viewer had a look of satisfaction on his/her face. That says a lot about the movie.
The story does not sound extraordinary, but it is the way it is handled is what makes the movie fantastic!! Let's get to the story.
