When two chefs make the same pasta:
Yes the first half is slow with is so much cliche' 'I am Assembling a team' drag, but Superman going the 'mofo' mode is one of the best 120 seconds I have seen in recent CBM history. The movie ain't that bad as critics feel so, it has some great moments. I wished Snyder stuck to his ways and not try to be politically correct which pulls back the narrative a bit: a single film trying to please all of the people some of the time.
For story and characters, there is nothing new to offer, Hollywood definitely needs to come up with Good villains with right motivations. Only WB execs know what went behind the scene and how much Snyder's work we got to see in the end, but this cocktail does seem rushed with last-minute formatting. You can figure out scenes shot be Whedon, all those Team chatter scenes.
But nevertheless, watch it for Superman. You won't be disappointed.

I believe you are bit parsimonious in giving star. 4 * would have been better as I watched it yesterday

The movie is crisp with a tight screenplay, except for the glaring plot holes. Nice watch on a cold winter night.

Entertaining yet forgettable
Yet another entertaining yet forgettable Thor film. Though the director has taken cues from GOTG to keep humor plenty and use references to enrich the storytelling, there is not much to offer in term of plot or characterization. To some extent, this is the first film in MCU to successfully WASTE Hulk and Loki both, which is not a small feat. It is a nice weekend caper if you want to have some good laugh, some cool action sequences and Hulk act like Shrek.

Hop-in-Hop-Off bus tour: A letdown as always
Imtiaz Ali wanted to be a Travel agent but unfortunately, his parents forced him to become a film director. Nonetheless, he could have spent more than an opening song in depicting the harshness and complexities of a Tour Guide's job ( much like subtle elements in The Guide) but he chose to use 150 minutes to show a pretentious love which one could never relate. Except for last 5 minutes, the film stays in Europe which I feel is the films biggest flaw. The filmmaker made the same mistake as Shad Ali in Jhoom Barabar Jhoom by putting the story outside India. The end result, the connection is lacking. Further the climax or anti-climax maybe something new for Indian cinema, but seems lazy.
The great first half is let down by the predictable and dragged second half. The music is a big let down too. Don't have high hopes, this film is not taking SRK back to the throne of Bollywood. Aamir has it secured for sure. SRK should focus more on roles and stories that connect with his audience in India and not outside. It's too late to try to be classy.

@antriksh.pandey I think SRK is not to be blamed for this one. He made the 2nd half watchable.
