I have been to a lot of places in the world, because I am a reader and a viewer. Same happened when I watched the series, It happened in Hong Kong, a Viu original. The initial minutes of the show take us on a wonderful voyage to Hong Kong. The four episode series is a mixed pace one and somewhat disappointing at some points. The first and the last episode are really enthralling and exciting but the same cannot be said about the middle episodes. I really liked the backdrop of the whole series and a lot of moments made me go aww during the runtime of the show. Some scenes are exceptionally very cute while some are dragged on unnecessarily. Nevertheless the whole show is a good watch.

Memories, a viu original is a combination of thriller, romance, drama and mystery and is totally worth your time. I really liked the concept of the show for its uniqueness and riveting account of the thriller genre. Vikram Bhatt has really outdone himself with this amazing thriller based on the life of a news reporter who gains special superpowers which allows him to access the memories of dead people. Their whole life becomes transparent to him and he can access all the good and bad, happy and sad moments of a person. And so his journey begins as he utilizes his powers in effectively solving crimes. The visuals, direction, acting and the storyline are to the par and really exciting to watch. Though a little predictable at some points, the show makes for a good siting on the edge of the seat thriller drama.

Sexual innuendos and classic adult jokes are fun and all till they are done in a justifiable right amount and is not overdone. Fourplay, an AltBalaji original could not keep it in tone and ended up prolonging the series more than necessary. The show has its own side splitting and hilarious moments and a good and interesting plot. The cast delivers great chemistry and an amazing performance as a whole while thoroughly complimenting each other. Each character has their own oddity and quirky personality. I really admired how the show touches undiscovered concepts and the boldness it ensues. It is definitely not a family show but it is entertaining nevertheless.

With only 2 episodes released till now, we do not know if the show Rejctx by Zee5 would be a hit or not. But what we do know is that the plot of this show till now is very intriguing. Set in an uber rich school, the story revolves around the life of a bunch of high school students who come forth to start their own underground rap band. The show completely portrays all the politics and emotional drama that a kid has to face in their high school and the amount of insensitivity that they deal with. I really liked the storyline and the concept but the acting and projection of the scenes is not too great.

The real struggle lands when they get a new contract of the wedding of a very special guy, Adhira’s ex-boyfriend. Cue the drama. The whole plot of the show is extremely innovative and very well executed. The acting of the whole cast is on point and unsurpassed. We live in a place where a person’s intelligence is measured by his fluency in English and his status is measured by the brands he wears. This is how superficial our society has become. Thinkistan is set in the city of Bombay in early 1990’s, a crucial era for advertising in India. The story is based on two polar opposite men Hema and Amit. Hema is the city bred well educated and stylish guy who is automatically considered to be the life of his company. Whereas Amit is from an impoverished lifestyle whose opinion does not matter much because of Hindi speaking existence. I am not a big fan of the show because it is prolonged way more than necessary and is quite repetitive. Though, Amit still manages to take everybody’s heart with his simplicity and innocence. I just wish he was given more screen time.

BOSS: Baap of Special Services is an AltBalaji original and a really amusing one at that. An undercover agent joins Shimla’s task force and is known for his peculiar ways and ideology of solving cases which are surprisingly always effective. I am really fond of the storyline and the chemistry between the characters. The show has quite a lot comical scenes and the plot is really engrossing and side splitting. The show is based on a new concept which makes it great for binge watch and the whole script remains connected well throughout and does not feel dragged on at any point.

Home, an AltBalaji original is the type of show that you will not regret watching. Everything about the show hits you right in the feels. The story is about the Sethi family comprising of the head of the family, dada ji, his son and daughter in law and two grandchildren and the way they tackle the problem hat life throws at them. The love that the whole family has for each other is surreal and extremely touching. I absolutely loved the whole concept of this show which is not new but still extremely relatable and gives you a nostalgic ride. The cast owns every moment they get on screen and makes it a joy to binge watch the whole show.
