It's great to watch in theatre where everyone is heard laughing in regular intervals. With a tutti- futti English spoken by the Punjabis this is a hilarious film. It's about a car (which was to be a gift in sister's wedding) lost by a teenager to impress a girl, now fears of his father blowing like volcano.

You just can't take a chance to miss a scene. The end is also breathtaking which shocks you with a final u-turn. It's a story of three prisoners on whom a documentary is made by filmmaker, Chandrika about their reformation. But in the due course, finds the coincidences between the prisoners.

With strong script it would have been good
For any Thriller movie it's script does half the job. Manorama.. lacks there. Ciniematography is good, sandy Rajasthan is well shot. The film starts off well, but, later it doesn't keep it up throughout till the end. It's storytelling instead of being simple is made so complicated that viewer fails to understand what the director is trying to narrate.
Abhay Deol is an exception among Deols, he has mostly done films which are not the regular ones. GulPanag, Sarika, RaimaSen, KulBhushan have done justice to their characters. Vinay Pathak, as he always leaves a mark in the movie, has done in this as well. It's a crazy thing when a cop starts his day on duty with a MALPUA and many such comic moments.
Abhay ..SV who is an ambitious detective writer, but in life a government engineer. As he is frustrated due to his novel Manorama's failure and now have only some cheap magazines to write for. He gets an opportunity to be the real detective for the wife (Sarika) of a politician. She asks him to spy on her husband. Till here film is interesting. Later things go upside down, both in the polt as well as in the narration.
Some things are not clear like reason behind Sarika's murder. To what extent were the photographs relevant? Suddenly how does the mystery get solved?

If you haven't seen you haven't missed much
Maahi from uptown and Kabir from downtown, as filmy as it can be. They meet on a camp trip, come close, feel love and make mistake. Mahi gets pregnant but both realise this as a mistake. Also are aware of family nonacceptance. So elope. Taking care of each other is interestingly shown. Astonishingly very soon the cute couple is able to fetch for themselves shelter, work, good furnishings etc. Families fight horribly. Many things happen too soon. The film takes a better turn when Maahi calls her father. The courtroom set is sloppy.
First and foremost the age when one stood study and search for career, here hero and heroine get in lovemaking and family making. What do we encourage our children for? Also after they realise mistake and take up the responsibility as a to-be-parent, then is it a sensible time to elope?.....Pregnancy Time. This issue raised by the director -producer is perhaps societal acceptance of a teen pregnant. But on a whole this film has not been able to justify the main issue.

Started with a good concept, became chewing gum without taste
Plot: This serial started with showing child labour. It's reasons were taken up in the story where Chakor's parents before her birth had to keep the unborn child as a bonded labourer to the wealthy landlord. In childhood itself Chakor was fearless, intelligent and brave. She always dreamt of freedom. Vivaan, the landlord's son, had a good repo with Chakor. Entry of Ishwar, Aditya's father who was collector, had a very big hand in educating Chakor and removing her from the shackles of bonded labour. Conspiracy was always set in by the landlord and others which just stretched the story to a boring serial.
Plotless extension: Remarrige of the landlord when first wife is present has nothing to do with the centre of serial ....child labour and bonded labour. Imli, more of Chakor's enemy than a sister also started with conspiracy. Tried to kidnap Chakor's daughter Anjor. And what not. In totality it can be said that Udaan is conspiracies in air all the time. Many of which deviates from the main topic of bonded labour.
Serial ends on Sept 6 2018 was in news.

The film is full about determination, positivity and hopes.
The determination and wit by which one calls for help and survives in an isolated flat with nothing to eat or drink or any basic necessity. Infact the reason of trap could happen to anyone in life. The small little details around which this whole accidental trap happened is subtly conveyed in the dialogues. At the onset of the film Shaurya hesitatingly chats with Noori, keeps meeting her and proposes her. All this happens fast. Still all is well understood by audience. Thus editing is good. Shaurya shows extreme commitment in marrying Noorie. For which he finalises a flat so quickly. On being trapped in the flat Shaurya goes through various ways to survive, is so realistic that we as audience also become a part to his survival ways. The best part was imagining a person in Geographical Channel who explains about eating coakroach to live in adverse conditions. Shaurya takes the audience along with his adventure when he climbs down from 35th to 30 th floor. It's amazing. His whole journey takes the audience through various emotions of valour, anger, helplessness, reluctancy, sick feeling etc. The philosophy behind TRAPPED is the inner strenghth one has to overcome struggles of life.

Everything is good about the film. Except in few scenes the regional language is not clear
Fed up of societal narrowmindedness, Devi And Deepak after encountering various mental pressure and truths in life, overcome the past and embrace the new present to fulfill their dreams in the future. Although these two leading characters (in two different stories) had experienced love and loss in their past lives, the marvellous intersection of them is shown. Whether it's the daughter father relation inspite of anger within self for each other or resentment against corrupt police officer or Devi's father taking care of the small boy or Deepak as a student as well as doing parental work of burning funeral pyres.... is acted so well by the actors as if it's a reality.
