I had been a fan of Anurag Kashyap till now, but after watching this I have it say it out loud, 'This man is a genius.' Never has such a movie been made in India and one has to salute this man as it takes a lot of guts for making such films, knowing that it won't be appreciated by the average Indian audience who prefer "escapist" cinema. The movie takes you on a roller coaster ride and in the end, the viewer is free to interpret the movie as he/she likes. Kudos to the director and the entire cast. Paresh Rawal deserves special mention for his performance. |
