Political satires have been around the corner in Indian Cinema. And the last addition to it is Ekkees Toppon ki Salaami. It is a well structured satire with a clear message, but narrated in a quirky way. A boy sets out to give a 21 gun salute to his father, who lived a life out of honesty. The screenplay just focuses on the plot, and gets right on the track after 10-15 minutes. There is no time lost in unnecessary stretched romance. That is the best thing about the film.
