With a title which perfectly encapsulates the mood of the plot,Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara is a joyride. Zoya Akhtar shines in her second screen outing with serious issues wrapped under the breezy story of friendship.It is about seeing life in a way other than the mundane,and challenging the stereotypes by taking resort to life-altering adventures. The major agent of changing the attitude towards life is friendship-when you have crazy friends,life is always eventful. And life this will not recur,so live it to the fullest!
Three friends reunite after years and embark on a journey to Spain where they challenge themselves with adventure sports and self-explorations. The three men overcome their greatest fears- fear of water,fear of heights and the fear of finality,death in the most challenging adventure. The little holiday makes them re-evaluate lives and relationships and when the credits roll in the end,we see them as changed persons,at ease with their lives.
Kabir(Abhay),Arjun(Hritik) and Imraan(Farhan) are three entirely different people who come together after many years. They have matured differently and have diffeent priorities which cause some friction in the initial stages of the journey. The entry of the women in their lives also stress the relationships. While Natasha(Kalki),Imraan's fiancee is a upper -class snob who hates Imraan's simplistic values,their closeness with diving instructor Laila(Katrina),initially causes some heated moment to occur. Later as they throw away what cripples their lives,Kabir shuns his relationship,and Arjun,his fear for commitmen,and Imraan his latent desire.With feet tapping music and panoramic view of Spain and its culture,the film addresses some very sombre aspects of our lives. Very very feelgood. Worth several re-watches.

"Dilon Mein Tum Apni Betaabiyan Leke Chal Rahe Ho Toh Zinda Ho Tum" : this dialogue of Farrhan Akhtar just shook me to the core. I don't know how to describe this movie but its very #inspiring and soul revealing. It makes me happy every time I watch it I #feelGood about my existence. It is a #mustWatch for all those people who want to go on a long trip with their BFFs. I can say that this movie is about #friendship , starting to love yourself, falling in love with someone, healing your old wounds, facing your worst fears with full on courage and #thoughtProvoking as it makes you think about your choices in life and whether you are happy with them or not. This splendid storyline mixed with couple of perfect actors makes Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara.

The movie has its own charm!!! Yes ! Infact the more you watch it ,the more you will love it! Its the best movie till now which showcases the true meaning of life,love , friendship, ambition and determination. The way it holds the content of living the life the best way possible is just mind blowing!! From realization to letting go of things is what the movie teaches us!!
The cast of the movie has done their work up to the mark and the direction by zoya akhtar is indeed appreciable ! Life!! The way it changes us!! The way it teaches us !! The way it is to be lived is shown very precisely in the movie! Must watch for every bachelor out there ! :D

I think this movie is really an inspirational one it actually taught us to live our life in completely different and enjoyable way with friends specially and title is totally suitable.

Three school friends of varied interests, backgrounds and problems go on an extended bachelor trip where they not only overcome their fears but learn how to value friendship and relations. A beautiful journey of self with mesmerising poetry and engaging, on point songs with absolutely wonderful locations.

It is a movie of coming age. One can't resist to travel after watching this. The dialogues are funny and #thoughtProvoking. Everyone has done their best. The shayaris of javed akhtar will go through your heart and it will not leave you for sure

This is a movie you would love, as it has beautiful destinations, friendship at it's best, and of course great lines like " Seize the day my friend, Pahale iss pal ko jio" By beautiful Katrina Kaif. Also 3 friends overcomes with their fears, and find ways ( and also love ) . Songs like Dil Dhadakne Do, And Mene Aab Ha Jinna are really refreshing. After watching it, you might think of making a short trip too.

There seems to be one small little snag however. The first half of the film is low on drama and proceeds as a touristy piece on Spain. You do get somewhat restless watching the three friends check in and out of hotels, rent cars, play juvenile pranks and indulge in traditional adventure sports like deep sea diving and sky diving. Of course, there is a lot of friendly bantering too between the friends, as Farhan Akhtar and Hrithik Roshan battle ghosts from the past. And yes, a dash of romance as Katrina sashays into their life as the free-spirited waif with a wild side to her winsome self.
It's the second half of the film which emerges as a scintillating insight into friendship, emotional growth and bonding. All the three protagonists use the trip to exorcise ghosts from the past and emerge as free, unburdened souls who are ready to face life with renewed vigour. And the bull run at the end of the film becomes a metaphor for the unburdening of repressed fears and unresolved conflicts. But the beauty of the film lies in the fact that it handles all this emotional funda in a poetic, lighthearted, breezy style which brings a smile to your face.
In terms of performances, it's hard to pinpoint your favourite since all three pitch in stellar acts. If Abhay is the anchor of the group, Farhan's funster role is full of beans and Hrithik's metamorphosis from uptight, money-minded stock broker to carefree vagabond is a class act. Katrina is her usual effervescent self while Kalki is cute, despite being heralded with a `chudail alert' (witch alert). Added embellishments are the pacy dialogues (Farhan Akhtar), the magnificent poetry (Javed Akhtar) and the rich cinematography (Carlos Catalan) which transforms Spain into vistas of colour.

Zindagi Milegi Na Dobara is a Feel good movie, It will turn your mood happy. Hrithik and katrina was going very well in this flim, and farhan akthar abhay deol and kalki were so funny through out the flim, Special appereance by Nasseruddin shah was brilliant and the songs were so energetic and this flim was mostly shot in spain and it was so well depicted about the serene beauty of spain and its culture. Zoya Akthar have casted the actors very perfectly. Dialouges were written by farhan akthar and it was hilarious

This movie is so true, looks so real. So believable and so meaningful.
This movie has set a class. All credits to director Zoya Akhtar. She has shown a lady director of this potential in India is a truth. You can't forget her for this movie.
3 young men take a holiday that changes their lives forever.Kabir (Abhay Deol) has just met Natasha. 6 months later they are engaged. He wants to go on an extended bachelor party. A 3 week road trip with Imraan (Farhan Akhtar) and Arjun (Hrithik Roshan) - his 2 best friends since school.The only problem is Arjun is too tied up with work. After much emotional blackmail and cajoling the boys set off on a journey they were meant to take 4 years ago.A fantasy holiday they had planned to take after college but never happened. A road trip where each one gets to do the ultimate sport of his choice and the other 2 just have to do it with him. Whether they want to or not!Kabir, Imraan and Arjun meet up in Barcelona and set off on an adventure that will not only make them iron out their differences but learn to face their fears and appreciate life and love better.In other words a holiday that will change their lives forever.
This movie explains us the mere human nature and inspires us to take a break. In today's world of competition everybody is running and running, working and working hard for money. They often skip the beauty around them. They don't praise it, they doesn't know the importance of it. Farhan Akhtar's poetry was so magical. Wrote so nicely and recited so beautifully. It couldn't have been better.

The movie has been directed by Zoya Akhtar with good actors like Farhan , ,Nasruddin shah,Hrithik,Abhay deol,Kalki and Katrina.The film starts with kabir(Abhay deol) proposes natasha (kalki).And she accepts it. Kabir thus plans a adventure cum road trip tospain for him Imran(Farhan Akhtar) and Arjun(Hritik Roshan) which was a pact between the three during their college. The trio have a bit of issues between them but still go on with the pact and do adventures like sky diving, deep sea diving and bull run. During the trip the issues get sorted out and hritik gets a girlfriend laila(katrina) who acted as their deep sea diving instructor. Also theattitude of Hritik towards money and his friends also changes. The emotional quotient of the movie is excellent and it has been depicted in such a cool manner that you feel happy instead of being sad and that's the biggest plus point of the movie.
You too go and live your life. but first watch the movie...

This movie was awesome. It showed a nice story about friendship. I liked the "Tomatina" festival they celebrated in Spain. It showed about having good friends is awesome. THe songs are also good. this movie revolved around the three friends with the problems in their life. Overall a nice entertainment package. A must watch movie.

ZNMD takes you to the journey of life.It is a movie to get back your life, if you lost it somewhere in today's fast life. It takes you to silly and simple moments of your life. The movie is about the bachelor trip of 3 childhood friends,in which they become more than friends.Witty and humorous dialogues makes it a funny movie. Awesome locations shot beautifully with excellent music and background score. Hrithik is as usual brilliant and so are rest of the stars.Though quite slow at times but it is a movie that must be watched to know the real way to live life!The movie is a ride that begins with fun and Ends with fun.It's something fresh in Indian cinema and kind of Genre which we haven't seen here in Bollywood very often!

A touching tale of friendships, changes, life, love and self-discovery. Farhan Akhtar is charming as ever, The boy next door Abhay Deol just makes you go 'aww' and Hrithik is edgy as ever. Their search for purpose and meaning in life is depicted in a light-hearted manner that leaves you with a warm, fuzzy feeling. Watch it with your closest friends to make the experience even more special.
