Yeh Ballet is an inspirational documentary that's based on two financially unstable dancers from the slums of Mumbai who's passion drives them both to find their greater purpose in life.

Asif is a young Muslim boy, the son of a welder who spends his time dancing on the streets of Mumbai with his friends, taking his talent for granted up until his elder brother who delivers pizza to a Dance Academy gets him a chance to enroll there. While at the Academy he crosses paths with Nishu, a son of a taxi driver who's only wish for his son is for him to study well and earn a living for their family to survive. After going at each other's throat over and over again they finally form a brotherhood bond thanks to their Israeli Ballet teacher, Saul. After a long journey of struggle to prove themselves they finally get a chance to live their dream after being selected for a two year scholarship in a Dance Academy in America.

This movie expresses beautifully the hardships of people that come from poor family with hardly any opportunities but dream filled hope in their eyes. The sub plot of the movie also seeks to exploit the atrocities of the society and bring out the rift between the Hindus and Muslims. The only thing I wish that could have been seen more was the Ballet teacher actually dancing .Overall this movie is heartfelt and is bound to prance into the depths of our feelings.
