India's best web series ever
Biggest magic of this show is that they don't take any clear side between entrepreneurship & corporate jobs , it's filled with both joys & complexity of life of an entrepreneur !

Best tv series in india. Damn good and inspiring too. Pitchers is a web-series about four young Mumbai-based professionals who quit their jobs to become entrepreneurs. Over 5 episodes, they navigate their way through start-up conclaves, potential investors, copyright infringements and relationships

'Pitchers' a show that looks at the lives and fortunes of four budding entrepreneurs — CEO Naveen (Naveen Kasturia), coder Jitu (Jitendra Kumar), marketing man Saurabh Mandal (Abhay Mahajan), and Yogendra Pandey aka Yogi. Over the course of five episodes, each approximately 40 minutes long (barring the finale, which clocks in at 56 minutes), we are thrust into an engaging story of four twenty-somethings in Mumbai who are navigating the start-up world for the first time ever. Naveen, Jitu, Yogi and Mandal have high-paying jobs. What they also have is an idea, a dream to start their own company, to be masters of their will instead of being slaves for their employers. And it all begins at a bar when Naveen, whose brainchild the idea for the startup is, gets drunk and is inspired by the words of his senior and mentor Bhati, an entrepreneur. “Tu beer hai,” Bhati tells him, “aur teri company, bottle.”
That’s when Naveen decides to pop out of the bottle and quit his job to work towards his dream. His friends, who trust him blindly, quit their jobs without batting an eye and follow Naveen into the unknown.
The five episodes of season one follow the four friends through their struggles, from soaring baby corn prices to rejections from investors to fund their startup.
The show is brilliantly written and acted. The casting, done by a fellow TVF member Nidhi Bisht, works well as the four friends seem very real and raw. It’ll be unfair to categorise Pitchers as a buddy-comedy. Of course it's funny and is about friends. It’s very intelligent yet never comes off as pretentious. It never overdoes the buddy-comedy thing and avoids cliches.
A must watch, Pitchers, simply put, is miles ahead of the curve.

Well of course there is a reason why this series is listed in Imdb's Top 250 . TVF's Pitchers is arguably the best Indian web-series on the internet. The central Idea of the show is also an idea. it is nation's trend of the hour - "STARTUP". The show digs deep into the Start-Up culture so Profoundly that It is easy to tell that the creators had aspired an studied the setting so well. Story revolves around the struggle , friendships, will and adventures of Naveen Bansal and team. Every character is being pulled from both sides by their dreams and reality. It is Tightly screen played and Directed series .

Well the intial drift that I got from the trailers, that TVF Pitchers might be like Silicon Valley (TV Series 2014– ), or if not then they will try to make it like The Big Bang Theory (TV Series 2007– ) or another version of "Chai Sutta Chronicles".

But boy oh boy , they have just crossed all the bars, broken all the records and myths by just brining one of the coolest show ever seen in the history of Online Series not just in India but amongst all.

The story line is so catchy, its not just about opening your own startup, if just that would have been the story line it would have been a cliche, but they very neatly and in a "DESI" comical style brought out the facts about opening the startup, challenges the todays youth faces in the so called "IT INDUSTRY", the monotonous life there and a million dreams being shattered there daily and the orthodox Indian society that still dreams of "SECURE JOB" rather than "DREAM JOB".

Great Job by Arunabh Kumar, Naveen Kasturia, Jitendra Kumar, Abhay Mahajan and the whole crew for chalking out this amazing show,
and the best of all Vaibhav Bundhoo | Facebook, man the background score is just amazing. idk how you are doing this but man seriously where the hell were you till now huh. :P
And one of the best things, brining the CEOs of startup owners in cameo apperances is not just epic but boosts up the whole entreprenurship bug inside every individual.

But honestly guys, this show rocks, everyone have to see the show once. Ill tell you what just start with first episode and believe you me , you gonna get damn addicted.

and not to forget this. the rating of TVF Pitchers on IMDb is bloody 9.6/10 TVF Pitchers (TV Mini-Series 2015), on a lighter side, its even more than "Bahubali" :P

There's a time and strategy for every business to work: Naveen knows it's his time.Through jury rooms and angel investor conferences, this is a tale of struggle, charisma, penance, moods, friendship and the boys you leave behind to become men of metal and business. It stands as an example of "failures are a step towards success".
Again, Jeetu leaves us mesmerised with his realistic and dramatic acting.

Just like beer, this intelligent web series flows freelyExcellent attempt by TVF to capture the real life of IT professionals in India who are aspiring for startups. Direction is awesome and performances by all the actors do not make it boring experience.

Frustration of IT employee is captured well and TVF team has made considerable efforts in making this a very authentic experience. Its treat for eyes and ears.

I would love to watch this series and I am eagerly waiting for next episode. I would love to have such new plots coming even on television in India on youth channels like Bindaas or MTV etc.

A must Watch!!
I think this web series have an inventive script, impeccable screenplay, true-to-life characters, splendid acting and humor at its best. TVF Pitchers is an audacious attempt by TVF to make a sensible TV show in India. The theme of the story is one which majority of the IT and young people will relate to. Pitchers shows the reality of start-ups in India. It portrays the start-up culture in India. It gives us an insight into the life of the people involved in a start-up. The best things in the series are chemistry of Naveen and Shreya which is too good. The writer Biswapati Sarkar deserves a mention here for his fabulous writing. Jitu who has always been my favorite again proves his mettle here. He delivered spectacular performance as a husband, as a son and the final episode clash with hostelers was really spectacular. After that scene I saw a smile on his face and I didn't think that was a part of the scene. Never mind. Yogi as a bully delivered good but his character was under-written. Mandal supposed to be a bother so that he could introduce comedy did felt a little forced, but nevertheless he proved himself in the final episode both as an actor and as a character. The show proved its mettle by getting featured in top 50 best shows of all time on IMDB. Eagerly waiting for season 2.

TVF Pitchers is an absolutely entertaining web series with just a pinch of #quirkyness to it. I personally love how the journey of entrepreneurs is portrayed dramatically, followed by ocassional tricky situations that totally gives us the #MixedFeels! The journey of 4 stuggling individuals, looking out for a change, wanting to make a name for themselves, as they undergo several tests of #love, #friendship, and not to forget , #patience ! What's even more great is ,as these four individuals set off on their journey of entrepreneurship, they end up discovering the core element of success that keeps them going together through all ups and downs - Trust & continuous support from one another! And that's exactly how they grow and evolve together throughout all circumstances! TVF Pitchers is definitely an #inspiring web-series and is absolutely worth the watch!

TVF Pitchers = Religion for Engineers
TVF had touched the epitome of popularity long back, but after Pitchers, the connection with the audience has become a strong emotional one. The majority of audience for TVF is undoubtedly youth. And hence it was obvious for Pitchers to be a huge hit. I felt the web-series was decently sketched, nothing exaggerated, clever puns and great comic timings. The cherry on the cake being the excellent character portrayal of the cast. Every detailing and dialogue throughout the series deserves a round of applause. The background score carved out a niche for itself and I won't mind downloading theme song and seting up as a ringtone! I loved TVF Pitchers; and that is an under-statement.

In my opinion it was a great show showing teamwork and friendship. Also had great punchlines. They tried showing the reality through which people suffer while executing their startup plans but with the bond like that anything is possible. It had every emotion in balance the love, romance, the hardwork, friendship, fum factors. It really was a must watch show. Hope to see more of it

When everyone has an idea and the world is your shark tank, this show comes and explains the reality of startups and how difficult it is to make a difference. When problems start to arise and personalities collide the reality of characters feel more and more real. Its the perfect amount of #humorous and #inspiring as well.
