TSP's Hum Tum (2018)

Hum Tum can be best described as a feel-good series about the big moments. It brings us up close and personal with the realistically flawed characters as they go through the watershed moments in a relationship-- first date, contemplating taking a break. We see them work through challenges together one moment and realizing how their partner falls short the next.

It’s an imperfect show though, with an unclear theme. While the characters stay the same, the episodes sometimes feel disconnected. Hum Tum, however, would be an excellent addition to your guilty-pleasure playlist. It’s cheesy enough to keep you coming back, but not enough to make you cringe every 5 seconds.

It delivers a mediocre experience but may be worth a skim.

Starring Ahsaas Channa as Tanvi and Parikshit Joshi as Kishore, Hum Tum is a story of two youngsters who are apparently best friends yet find themselves increasingly attracted to each other. This TSP Original is a refreshing on the old school romances. The plot, the dialogues and most importantly, the acting is breezy enough to make you comfortable and honestly, hooked up to the story. A sweet, budding romance between Tanvi and Kishore is cute and honestly beautiful in the quintessential millennial way.

Hum Tum is a an Indian comedy series by The Screen Patti. It follows the story of two college mates Tanvi and Kishor. Something which you will instantly like is the dynamic between them. The episodes are short and sweet and are driven by emotions between the two protagonists. There is no real sense of progression and all the episodes feel like stand alone. The actors are effective and effortless and do not have shortcomings. Being a comedy series, it doesn't have big laughs but you will find yourself smiling throughout the episode. Watch this for some amazing camaraderie between two friends.

This show features Ahsaas Channa as Tanvi and Parikshit Joshi as Kishore, best friends who fell in love. Their chemistry is amazingly portrayed and both the actors did a great job with their role. Both Kishore and Tanvi are college students who used to hang out with each other as friends and later fall in love. This show depicts how their lives change after they get into a relationship, their ups, and downs. It is available on The Screen Patti YouTube channel and on TVF play app. It also features Badri Chavan as Kishore’s friend. I really liked the way he described the stages of friendzone.

A beautiful story about two college friends- Kishore and Tanvi, who fall in love and the situations that they face, and most importantly, how they try to solve their problems and keep each other happy. This is definitely a must watch for all the people out there, who are in love, and for people, who want to fall in love.

This cute couple's romantic story teaches us to embrace the imperfections in the other person and to own them, and to love and accept them, as they are, and moving on with them by their side, in their lives. College friends Kishore and Tanvi are very close to each other. Tanvi invites Kishore to celebrate Diwali with her family. Kishore remembers the exact Diwali gift that Tanvi wanted- an ukelele. The web-series shows the bonding over of Kishore and Tanvi, through five episodes, which may feel slowpaced, but to be comfortable with each other, they must give themselves a certain amount of time. The way they fall in love with each other, they dream of growing up together, the way in which they try to make each other smile and the way in which they handle each other's emotional breakdown or outburst, or anger or happiness, are definitely, the best part of the web-series.

Ahsaas Channa as Tanvi and Parikshit Joshi as Kishore have definitely done a great job, here. They have shown how two persons in love should know or try to adjust to each and every situation or problems that they will have to face in the long run, without getting irritated or thinking of "breakup", after getting afraid of what they have heard about "long distance relationships." This sweet and cute romantic web-series is available on YouTube; so go and be a part of a sweet love story.

It feels amazing to fall in love with your best friend, but its difficult to accept it and to confess it. Hum-tum's story line revolves around a cute duo of friends which later on become a couple.

The outtake that Kishore and Tanvi have on love in this fast-paced world is remarkable as they challenge the view that people have on relationships in today’s time. The show beautifully captures their journey from being friends to best friends to lovers. The way the aforementioned couple deals with ups and downs in their relationship sets an exceptional example for the viewers. From being each other’s study partners to each other’s valentines, from being the shoulder to cry on after flunking examinations to being the crazy duo, ‘Hum Tum’ is an absolute delight to watch.
