The show is about a love triangle between two vampire brothers and a girl. The characters are dark, full of guilt and full of emotions. Sometimes they hide their feelings to protect others.
The story is very sensitive and characters are so much interesting.

Twilight has already created its buzz around so much that this series was a muct to try on. A perfect love tale with all the dramatic fantasy fiction in a vampire romance story. I loved every character how they perfectly carry their roles.

This TV series might be fantasy but it will make you want to actually go drink blood or cast a spell or just be with Ian. The plot will keep surprising you with every episode and leave you gasping and drooling over all the men and their incredibly attractive accents. It will tickle your funny bone with every Damon Salvatore sarcasm and wit. Shocking twists and turns , cliff hangers that will make you binge watch it. It made me want to learn spells and become bonnie bennett.

My girlfriend got me hooked to this show. Classic love story for a high school girl, with a twist of supernatural beings. GREAT series.
I'm a HUGE fan of Twilight; the story, the characters, their relationships with one another was, is just simply amazing. Stephanie Meyer did a great job with her story. But the only thing that I did not like about it was her taking away from the legends.
The Vampire Diaries offers it's viewers the "Twilight" love story, the danger of being around the supernatural and it leaves all of the legends somewhat accurate, if not perfect. In my opinion, this is one of the best Vampire stories that I've seen/read in a long time. If you're a fan of the supernatural, love stories and vampires in general, you need to take a day and watch this series.
