The Stranger (2020)

The stranger is a Thriller show, that kept me in my seat till I was done binge watching the whole thing in one go.

The story revolves around a stranger that's rather obsessed to reveal secrets to other strangers to make them aware of what's going on in their lives. Along the story line families, Neighbors, kids are all involved leaving many homes and lives broken and lost after the secrets are brought into light. The show starts off with a loving family man Adam Price who ends up finding out from the very same stranger that his wife had faked her pregnancy two years ago. After Adam confront his wife Corrine Price, she says she needs some time off and goes missing. In the journey to find his wife he comes across various other people being met by the same stranger. With the help of a Detective Johanna they uncover mysteries connecting events to the strangers identify and her connection to his wife.

Throughout the story the Identity of the "Stranger" is known as in her face is revealed to the people who she reveals the truth to which makes me wonder why wasn't her identity kept secret. She could have rather mysteriously dropped letters or emails instead giving the show more to look forward to.Plus there is a lot of story build up which gets your expectations for the plot really high all to be let down by the disappointing ending. Felt like the writers were all hyped up in the first few episodes then they got lazy to continue so they just threw in random stories and loose threads making it sloppy. But all together for a Netflix Original thriller it's a rollercoaster ride and whether you end up frustrated or wanting more it's definitely worth a watch.
