Judged by Sunidhi Chauhan, Amit Trivedi and Nucleya, 'The Remix' is an Amazon Originals that offers its viewers with the spectacle of young musicians playing to the tunes of the old Bollywood classics and remixing it with the pop and sensation of the millennial world. Featuring fusions of multiple genres of music, this show is a delight for all those whose very world is defined by mesmerising music. Offering some of the most riveting performances, it's a delight for all.

The remix is a breath of fresh air in the stagnated and swamped space of music shows. Singers aren't just singing but performing that too on popular Bollywood tracks which they completely reinvent by collaborating with a music director as their partner. The director-singer duo is judged based on their ability to remix an existing track with current styles and tempos.

With experienced singers, directors and equally capable judges Sunidhi Chauhan, Amit Trivedi, and Nucleya, the show definitely does not feel like an amateur hour trying to make something of nothing. Karan Tacker does a good job hosting. There are some great performances too like Sree Rama and Candice redding's rendition of 'Masakali', Akasa Singh and Skip's a version of 'Sooraj dooba hai'. Another contender to look out for is NSG who could have killed with a better pairing. Each episode brings a different theme, and contestants must conform a track of their choice to that theme. Teams scoring the least are disqualified every episode.

The production design is on point and stage set up is pleasing to look at. The live audience adds to the overall charm.

Bottom line, a great show for modern-day music enthusiasts.

The Remix is an Indian reality show by Amazon Prime. In the show, contestants remix old and new popular bollywood songs and give it a new twist. The show is absolutely amazing and for today's generation next. The show is judged by Sunidhi Chauhan, Amit Trivedi and Nucleya. Along with the remixed track, the singers also give visually stunning performances which makes the show stand out. I started to watch the show to get a feel and ended up completing the whole season. Futuristic is the word. This show offers the viewers a break from the same old reality tv singing shows and steps up the level. Highly reccomended for music lovers.

'The Remix' is a music-based reality show, where the contestants fight to outdo each other in an absolutely unconventional department- remixing popular Bollywood numbers and presenting them before the judges and to an audience, hungry for innovation, originality and freshness. The judges comprise the singer extraordinaire, Sunidhi Chauhan; composer par excellence, Amit Tridevi; and the King of the console, Nucleya. Magic is bound to happen when you have a panel of judges as eclectic as this one. Host Karan Tacker also holds his own to make an impact. What makes the show beyond brilliant is its format- the format is creative and imaginative, hogging centre-stage, keeping us glued to our seats and ensuring that there’s never a dip in the tempo of the show. Ten teams, each comprising a singer and a remix artist, DJ if you may, rejig a popular number, add their own unique take to it and perform it before the judges and audience. Every week sees an elimination, hurtling the show headlong towards an exciting finale in the last, i.e. tenth episode.
The quality of production is outstanding- almost as good as international shows such as The Voice and X-Factor. The sets are dazzling, the vibes psychedelic, and the standard- world-class. The Remix abounds in music that is as uplifting as it is novel. Acknowledging our collective love for music and all things Bollywood, Amazon Prime has served up a delectable fare of Bollywood chartbusters doing a neat tango with the reshuffling skills of popular remix artists.
The judges deserve credit for being the most unselfconscious ones ever. They prod and provoke the contestants to deliver their best, all the while showering inspiring words of appreciation on them. Their observations are sharp, their comments, on point.
The show is a treat for lovers of fusion music. I'm, like all the other Remix addicts, are looking forward to a crackerjack of a finale.

The remix is a Prime original reality TV show where musicians add their touch to some popular Bollywood songs. The show is judged by Sunidhi Chauhan, Amit Trivedi and Nucleya. The concept of the show is quite extraordinary and revolutionary as a singer is paired up with a DJ and together they make a beautiful composition. The amount of talent present in the show is remarkable. Some episodes were better than the others but overall it is a good experience to watch it. Along with some exquisite compositions, I really liked that the show lacks overdramatic waterworks from the judges. There are various melodious and magnificent compositions, but my personal favourite was ‘Tu chahiye’ in episode 9. It can be accessed on Amazon prime.
