The Producers Review

When many wrongs make it right:

if they made this film today, the offended brigade would definitely burn it down. But thankfully back in 60's humor was free of the burden being politically correct.

this 90 minute humor ride is must watch if you love subtle humor:

"I chose the wrong play, wrong director, and the wrong cast, where did I go right?"

The above quote from the film is the gist. The story goes like this where theatrical producer Max Bialystock has fallen on hard times. In an attempt to acquire some money, Max and his accountant conspire to select the worst play, the worst playwright, the worst director, and the worst actor to collaborate on a guaranteed flop, entitling them to keep the investors' excess money.

All that follows is an awesome romp with some powerful performances. Mind it, Comedy acting is hard and the two characters: The author Franz Liebkind and the actor(LSD) have owned the film besides our Producer and the Accountant.

And then there is Ulla....

Go ahead, you will love this warm weekend watch

PS: It actually worked for a Director in real life:
