A try hard fantasy show.

The letter for the king is a fantasy story set in the medieval period which seems to cater more to the teen audience.

The story starts off with Tiuri (Amir Wilson) who comes from a long line of noble knights, one just like his step father. He participates in a tournament to become a knight of Dagonaut. Unfortunately he turns out to be dreadful at it. A dramatical change occurs the night of the last test of the tournament where he's met with a dying knight who's last wish is for Tiuri to deliver a letter to a king who lives a thousand miles away within 14 days. He embarks on a journey with the burden of saving the kingdom upon his shoulder.

The show overall seems like it's trying to mimic the Game of thrones, minus all the nudity and violence. There are twists in the story which makes you believe that it isn't as predictable as you thought, but all the more seems like a joke. There was lot of room for charecter development and it seemed like the horse in the movie had the best acting skills. There were many failed attempts at humour. The ending wasn't all worth it, totally anti-climatic and left me feeling that there was no space for emotions whatsoever.

The story line could have been written better as it felt rushed. The concept was good and the cinematography. It has only 6 episodes in 1 season so it's a quick binge watch and also can be watched along with your family.
