 #melodrama THANGAMAGAN:The movie didnt kept up the Charm of "VIP".The principle photography of the film started with the name"VIP-2" and later it was changed to"Thangamagan".Coming to the film the story can be broke down into two halves.The first half is about the protagonist's teenage love and married life where as the second half is a thriller cum action based story revolving around crores of money and his father's death. Velraj cinematographer turned director done a decent job with film making aspects but didnt handled the story well. Dhanush was as usual freaking awesome.His romance track with Amy Jackson and Samantha was fabulous.Music by Anirudh was great and lovely. Overall the film was good. Dhanush fan's will not be disappointed.

The Movie has no grip in its screenplay. Second half being slow paced and childly fights between hero and villain irritates, also tends audience to sleep in theatres. Thus movie fails in all ways.

Thangamagan may not have any new plot-line. It has ample #cliched humour, #cute love between the protagonists. However, stellar performances from Dhanush and the leading ladies is indeed #outOfWorld . The music and lyric from DNA ( Dhanush and Anirudh) is definitely #bestOfAction. With all that said, the movie is indeed trying to duplicate the VIP magic. Certainly does not have convincing narrative. May pass-off as another #oneTimeWatch. It is just a #masala movie trying to woo the general mass
