This movie has good story line and because of its story it provokes the feeling of patriotism in ourselves after viewing this movie. The actor Shahrukh Khan did a great job in this movie , again proved himself
as a king of Bollywood.

i think movie was #touching . Swadesh is one of the #clever step took by Sharukh khan which involved a lot of risk factor when his career was at peak but his decision turn out be a #inspiring one and it rouse the the feeling of patriotism in the youth of our country.

Real India is rural India - u gonna get this feel after watching this movie.
India has loads of brains to work but all set to go to abroad because of the lack of opportunity that is there.
A man who is working in America comes to India and finds the reality on which his homeland is in. He explores his village and looks into the problem it faces.
A typical Indian village which preserves its tradition and culture but is deprived of basic facilities.
The story revolves around Shah rukh Khan who meets curious and interesting characters during his stay in his country - makes him realise - Aisa desh hai mera.
you wanna see a different side of SRK - then this movie is a must watch.

A man searching for clues to his past pays a visit to the place where he was born in this drama laced with romance and music from India. Mohan Bhargava (Shah Rukh Khan) left the small village in India where he was born and raised to travel to the United States, where he worked as part of the American space program. But after the death of his parents, Mohan becomes nostalgic for his home and takes a leave of absence in order to visit Kaveri (Kishori Ballal), a woman who helped to raise him as a boy. While searching for Kaveri, Mohan becomes reacquainted with Gita (Gayatri Joshi), one of his friends from his school days who has stayed behind to serve the community as a teacher. Gita thinks little of Mohan's desire to bring Kaveri back to the United States with him, but she also finds herself struck by the charm and intelligence of the adult Mohan, and the two develop a strong infatuation. But many in the community have little regard for Mohan's accomplishments in the United States until he steps forward to help his old neighbors by revamping the village's antiquated electrical system.

This Story is very awesome. Makes an Indian to feel proud of himself! We go abroad, earn lot of money live splendid lifestyle. But what about India, where we came from. We should in fact come back and do something for our country.
The Song - " Yeh Jo Desh Hai Tera. (Sharukh Khan) is so emotional. I like it very much. It will take out tears if u listen it carefully.
In the acting department, Shah Rukh after a long time has given a genuine performance. The star in him is not highlighted much, but he has made a real effort to be the character Mohan who genuinely feels for his country. Kudoos to him. Githa, as his spirited romantic liaison has given a convincing performance regarding that it is her debut film and that too with a superstar. The rest of the cast including the gamut of characters have given adequate support.
This movie is one of my favourites!
I still wonder , Why did this not HIT on Indian cinema ?
