watch it, women!

With all the buzz about women-centric films hogging all the limelight in Bollywood in recent days,Queen is a film which deserves all this attention and for the right reasons.A beautiful storyline with the heartrending journey of a young, innocent girl from meekness and ignorance to self-confidence,Queen is a piece which will be remembered. The eponymous heroine's name turns out to be irony mocking at her life when, despite being the most ideal daughter, and fiancee, she gets rejected the day before her wedding and finds her world of dreams crashing down. To get over the shock, she decides to venture on her pre-booked honeymoon, alone. Breaking free from her image, her community, her society she transforms into self-confident,independent woman when she walks alone in the streets of Europe, and lives with three men in a mess. With her roots deeply etched in her culture, she lets her soul wander, and during her journey becomes the master of her own life. In true sense, she becomes the true Queen-not just a name which her beloved has gifted her,to disguise his authority over her.

When she returns, the same fiance begs for a reunion, but what she does,is surprising but truly inspiring. Watch out for Kangana's soulful performance and the supporting cast who are equally talented. And,women(I am trying my best not be biased),surely watch it to make your spirits dance to 'London Thumakda'
