Disappointing.
Remember how in school every other guy looked like they stepped out of a magazine or how PDA was considered to be extremely normal. No? ME neither. There is a day and night difference between realism and the story of Puncch beat. The show was so hyped and had a rating of 8.1 that I decided to check it out. Needless to say, I could not go further than 2 episodes without eating an aspirin. With no offence to the whole team of the series, this show is an akin to Karan Johar’s student of the year. Either I studied at a really uptight and boring school, or this show decided to fully ignore the realism of the school life. The show has absolutely no relation to the innocence and carefree school life. The only thing good about this show was the acting skills of the cast which did not look too pretentious but was really nice.

Eye popping
Puncch Beat is an Indian drama series by ALT Balaji. It revolves around the lives of students of Rosewood High, supposedly India's premiere academic institution. The whole show feels like a combo of Student of the Year and Main Hoon Na. The show is high on hormones and showcases everyone extra. The actors manage to grab your attention and put on a little show in this otherwise average series. This is one of the shows which you don't take seriously and watch it because you are bored, not when you're looking for a cinematic masterpiece.

Now this series was released on the Valentine's Day so one can easily guess that its about #teen #complicatedLove . Also we can say that the plot is about #friendsToLovers .The
#youth based series is a high school drama that revolves around Rahat played by Priyank Sharma, Ranbir played by Siddharth Sharma and Divyanka played by Harshita Gaur. Rahat is a 17 year old boy suffering from a bad relationship with his father and Divyanka is the one to lift him up from his depression. It can be said that this series accompanies different emotions at the same point of time be it jealousy, romance, #revenge hatred or maternal affection. There's a love quadrangle between Rahat, Divyanka, Ranbir, and Padmini.

Puncch Beat is a Hindi wed series released by AltBalaji in 2019. It is a romantic drama created and written by Vikas Gupta. It stars Harshita Gaur, Priyank Sharma, Siddharth Sharma, and Khushi Joshi. It is a classic college love story of students as portrayed in Karan Johar movie Student of The Year. I liked the series because it is interesting if you just watch it for entertainment then it's fine. It revolves around an elite school of India Rosewood High which is famous for boxing. The series portrays friendship love and all the other things happening in the school rather than studies. I watched the series in one end and waiting for the second season. It is streaming on the AltBalaji app.

Still wondering why DHARMA PRODUCTIONS didn't produce it
Puncchbeat is anything but ordinary and predictable. Tangled up and shadowed in the glory (irony intended) of the ever so famous franchise of the movie series "Student of the Year" this show is exactly what Karan Johar would have delivered if it was ever made into a webseries. Well, let's take a moment and thank the critics and Karan's conscience for not putting us through that torture again. But let's not forget that this show came into existence and delivered the unthinkable (sarcasm intended). Another STUDENT OF THE YEAR spinoff minus the star cast and *coughs* nepotism *coughs*. As the name suggests the plot basically revolves around unnecessary boxing and dancing because academics "gayi tel lene". Rosewood High is a prestigious school which only exists to cater the rich kids. To add a twist to the already boring plot the "outcast" Rahat is brought on board and the an open battle takes place between the privileged "STAR BOY" Ranbir and Rahat which forms the crux of the story. I am really curious to know why the director even bothered to cast the two actresses. They barely got screen space and their characters showed no development. Divyanka aka. the dancing diva (the only dancer in the entire school because guys like bloodshed only, sorry man) plays the love interest of Rahat but of course Ranbir falls for her too and this leads to Ranbir harbouring and burning in the fire of hatred and revenge against Rahat who is actually Ranbir's half brother ( there goes an oopsie). Ultimately the women in the series get reduced to an object of desire and lust, except Nikki Walia who plays Ranbir's mum. She has portrayed the role of a principal and a mother brilliantly. Her inner conflicts and outer conflicts impart an idealistic aura to her character. The plot unmoving and pointless doesn't leave any more room for discussion. If you are a STUDENT OF THE YEAR fan then this webseries might interest you but other than that there's notjing worth watching other than two good looking guys, making out with the same girl and fighting each other because a love triangle always wins. But this time, maybe not. The stereotypical portrayal of women is appalling and sad. Comic relief seems forced and appears superficial to the development of the plot ( if there's any *chuckles*). In conclusion the series is watchable but highly unrealistic and unbearable.

Very similar to Karan Johar's movie plots. Come on guys we audience want something new not the same old plot. Web series are popular for a reason, they portray the characters and the plot in such a way which is insatiable, raw and which is generally unabashed and which is not normally shown in theatres. We definitely want something new but if you want something similar to our pointless and unrealistic Bollywood movies go for it!

the story line was common. There was nothing new in the story. Although i just like kushi character . She played her role well. The rahat character was slowpaced. And divyanka was quite confusing. The show ending was the big disappointment.

Another cliched story by Alt Balaji having background similar to "Student of the Year" . A story about a School, of and for the rich spoiled brats, famous for it's boxing federation and an obvious ruling champion of the game who necessarily has to be womaniser, meets a rebel. This rebel is here to challenge this champion not only in the ring but in life, challenging his image, his love interest and everything he boasts about. 2 girls who are just the love interest and have very little to deliver to the plot . The champion and challenger have a thing in the backdrop which becomes too predictable after the very second episode from the season. It concludes to nothingness and has an abrupt ending. Watch it to satisfy your teen drama buds.

Sparkless
This show has got almost all, like the romance, the sport, the hatred, the competition, the friendship and all but somewhere it does not have the spark to attract the audience/spectators. But also it is a good show and worth your time. It is the story of a bunch of teenagers whose lives are revolving around Rosewood High school , one of the premium institute which is famous for three things: Boxing, Dance and Discipline. But as the new term begins their life changes as many dark and untold truths come into light and as a result many rules and discipline of the institute are broken leading to many troubles and dangers in life of rosewood high.

Dustbin reviewed Puncch Beat
It is a show that encapsulates everything that being a teenager stands fir. It shows teenaged angst, juvenile insecurities and adolescent rivalries, in gloriously intense technicolor.
The name 'Punch Beat' depicts 'Punch' for 'Boxing' and 'Beat' for 'Dancing'. The first episode gives a clear message that the show is all about the four students, dance and boxing.
Each and every character played their role very well. Priyank's intense look , his expressions and chemistry with Harshita is impressive. Siddharth and khushi have also performed well. Niki and Samir are a big plus on the show. Overall, this show is loved by the young teenagers.
