Pete Davidson: Alive from New York Review

Pete Davidson reality TV start turned actor turned comedian gets personal with his life by sprinkling humour all over it. Since I used to watch him on SNL and Comedy Center Roast I remember his jokes being hilarious to the point of tears. This show hugely disappointed me that way. He seemed out of the zone, trying way too hard to make his each and every line stick by being monotonous. His punchlines were wobbly and sloppy leaving the audience in awkward silence, and that is exactly how I left me.

Other than that he talks about his emotional journey growing up and losing his parent to 9/11, a pop star dumping him, almost getting fired from SNL which makes you want to stick around for how raw he gets stitching his life together in front of us.
