Perfectly watchable but nothing remarkable.
Being single is a blessing and a curse all at once It was about time that the webspace realized the potential of a comedy-drama series that glorifies singledom. 'Only for singles' strikes a good balance while portraying typical single people problems and making use of over the top scenarios to create humour. Struggling to make it a big in a restless metropoliton, grappling with relationships and lack of a comfortable living arrangement is something that most can resonate with.

Inculcation of interesting eccentric characters with well-formed character arcs comes off as a pleasant surprise. An impulsive ambitious rich girl -Ranjeeta (Deepti Sati) who just lost a close friend Mickey (Vivan Shah) decides to house him and his friends in a newly built apartment building "Ranjeeita" owned by her father as a resort to winning him back. Her plan goes awry and now all tenants of 'Ranjeeta' building must bear the fallout while fighting with their demons. Story development is fast-paced, and so many parallel storylines makes for an engaging experience.

The production design is well done, but the direction could use some work. While the central writing is mediocre with just a couple of good dialogues every once a while, the supporting characters on the other hand are poorly written and makes the overall experience annoying. There is apparent degradation in quality with each episode, but the show manages to stay afloat.

It can neither be strongly recommended nor strongly condemned.

Good Fn
Only for Singles is an Indian comedy series by MX Player. The show is about a group of friends who are struggling financially and struggling to get accommodation. The show has a strightforaward plot and relies on situational comedy which pretty good. The 18+ tag is just to include more steamy situations and get a laugh out of it which works fine for the series. The cast is pretty good and characters fit in the show very well. The show is light-hearted fun and can be enjoyed if you have nothing better to watch.

The web series is directed by Samar Sheikh the talented filmmaker who has roped in an interesting star cast which includes actors like Vivaan Shah, Pooja Banerjee, Aman Uppal, Deepti Sati, Shirin Sewani and Gulshan Nain in the lead role. 'Only For Singles', a web series that has six young men and women traverse through urban life and just the beginning of their problems is a place to stay. One of them, Ranjeeta, owns a building and has two flats – which are an impromptu host to the six people. Of course, problems crop up.
RJ (Deepti Sati) has five friends, Mickey (Vivaan Shah), Raapchik (Shirin Sewani), Appu (Pooja Banerjee), Harman (Gulshan Nain) and Riyaz (Aman Uppal). The six live in two flats of her dad’s building. Partly because they don’t have money to pay the rent and partly because Riyaz can’t get a home in Mumbai because of his religion. As the six traverses through urban life, they experience and handle heartbreak, rebellion, love, friendship and come to terms with their life. This, in a nutshell, is how the story pans out. There are many more interesting subplots. Harman gets an audition call for an underwear ad. The one big requirement is a big “package”. Rapchik too is tricked into shooting a porno. Singles have multiple issues, several of which have been dealt with here in good measure. Naseeruddin Shah’s son Vivaan is good as Mickey. But to be honest, they could have him debate internally about choosing between Appu and RJ. Any true blue guy will at least think twice if his hot ex-gal comes back. Just telling RJ to move on does not really cut ice. Deepti is swell as RJ. She seems to have got the lion’s share of work, in terms of playing with different emotions, while the others only have set character briefs. Pooja fits the prototype bong. We would have loved to see her in a more glamorous look though. Shirin, Gulshan, and Aman impressed us equally.
'Only For Singles' is a breezy, light hearted view with some at par performances. The best thing about the series is that it tackles all the problems that millennials face – right from not getting a house on rent to not being taken seriously by parents – in a simple, light screenplay. This is a series with a young vibe and will cater to a young audience. The writer, Chirag Mahabal, conjures up a quick story that’s as light as they come.
'Only For Singles' is one for the young generation. So watch it now kudos.

At least these guys have understood they problems of being single and came up with this #entertaining series . all the actors are doing so good with their characters . we can see happiness in this series when some group of singles live together under a helpful shade and we can also witness the bonding when the same shade is shattered. Maybe living with opposite genders is not possible as they have shown but the fact that it is so #insightful is true. they have also shown how difficult to enter a relation for singles as well as why they stay single. I really liked it while watching. #beautiful !
