Bachna Ae Haseeno Review

I can barely express how much I loved this movie. Sheer perfection! Ranbir Kapoor was fantastic!

Raj is a rogue and a rake. He callously wrongs two women, and has the situation turned on him by an independent woman determined not to marry. The second half of the film has Raj finally growing up as he experiences the pain of rejection from someone he truly loves.

What I absolutely adored were the direct references to DDLJ. While in Switzerland on a college trip, he tries to be THE Raj to a girl he meets on a train. Even a wedding scene later in the movie heavily references DDLJ in many ways, including the dance moves, and was simply sublime.
