This story unfolds in the Tinsel Town of Hollywood that brings out the racism, sexism and homophobia that existed even after the world war 2. The charecters are all trying to make it huge in the film industry. Jack Castello a veteran, married with a baby on his way tries his best to ends meet while dreaming big of being someone meaningful in Hollywood. Raymond and Camille lover, a director and black actress respectively who's chances in the film industry do not exceed a maids role. Archie a gay black writer struggling between the racism he has to face to make it through the industry and the homophobia weighing in.

Together these people come together to make a movie called "Meg" which ends up being not only an inspirational message but an eye opener to the changes needed in the society.

I honestly don't know why this movie got so much hate. The acting was beautifully done, cinematography wonderful there were a few holes in the plot but no movie is perfect and it all just ends up depending on a point of view. Definitely there should have been some back stories to the actors in the movie which would have shown a better eye to charecter development and it was more on the slow paced side. But at the end of the day this show with a total of eight episodes is a total binge worthy.
