Haq Se (2018)

Gripping!
Haq se is an Alt Balaji original concentrated on the lives of the Mirza sisters. The scenic beauty of the breathtaking valley of the heaven on earth, Kashmir steals the limelight of the whole show. Through the troubled lives of the Mirza sisters, the makers of the shows captivatingly depict the sorry condition of the place where the heavens fall, getting ruined between the politics. Each character on the show brings a different issue on screen just like the condition of Kashmir like the issue of existence, lack of freedom, hopelessness to name a few. The amazing cast gripped my attention throughout the duration of the show along with the element of mystery in the characters. The beauty of Kashmir won’t let you stop halfway.

Inspiring
Haq Se is an Indian drama web series by ALT Balaji. It is based on the classic Little Women. It follows the story of four sisters who have their own journeys and their own struggles. The good thing is even though the show has well-known actors, the story takes the center stage. What sets it apart is also the fact that it is set in Kashmir. Apart from the beauty of Kashmir you also see the struggle which people go through. Rajeev Khandelwal is excellent as a supporting actor. Surveen Chawla once again shines. Haq Se is really thought-provoking and an intense series which will make you cry and smile.

A modern tale of four Kashmiri women and how their lives play out, with conversations about their dreams, desires, love - all in the midst of war, turmoil ad civilian unrest. The dreamy Naushad Rizvi and the Mirza sisters are good but not something that hasn't been portrayed before. The cinematography is something that hooks you up since there isn't pretty much anything else that will. The scenes are beguiled though. In all, it's watchable if you have exhausted your list of shows that could be binge watched. Watch it for its strong women characters, the sprawling cottage and the picturesque Kashmir, even though it's apparently shot in Manali.

'Haq Se' starts as a story of a family, comprising of two women, and the four daughters of one of the women, the Mirza family. The daughters are young women with their own minds and set to live life on their terms. The eldest, Meher, signs up to intern with the charismatic doctor Naushad Rizvi. Jannat Mirza is a freelancer who wants to change Kashmir with her blog, while Rabiyah and Amal Mirza are still finding their footing in a world full of grown-ups.
But that’s just the top-line of the story. Under this, there’s a lot more sub-text about women living in a man’s world – however shielded world that is. The dreamy doc may have murdered his wife. The blog’s no longer an innocent diary, and children finding their footing in a world full of grown-ups are destined for heartbreak, sometime or the other.
The story’s well thought of, the characters are the essence of the on-going and you can feel the layers that the lead characters have. It’s said that in films, it’s the small things that make up the bigger picture and few web series prove it like Haq Se does. Come for the story and performance and Haq Se for the quirky twists that are masterstrokes.
The story is set in modern times where we are fighting for equal rights, culture and ideologies of the society. A debate that we usually see happening on social media or news channels about relationships, love, an 'ideal' woman , etc. happens in the Mirza family. It's a debate you can't miss! Not to mention, what a beautiful set! The makers have shot the series in Manali but the set looks so beautiful, you'd feel like moving there immediately.
'Haq Se' is well worth your time.

It is an extremely beautiful web series, every episode is worth watching. It has the Indian traditional touch yet such purity in each character. It is a Lovely script which reveals about Kashmir and its society. Every story has a happy ending but this story did not have a happy ending. This series did not screw up by some unreasonable ending instead; it beautifully and so perfectly ended. I am happy to see Indian audience moving on and so are the creators. Thanks for such a masterpiece. Undoubtedly, this is one of the best series I have watched so far. #mustWatch #intense #adaption
