I am sorry that i use references from FRIENDS all the time but i am more sorry that you don't get them.People who have watched the show know what i am talking about and for ignorant souls its a sitcom following the lives of 6 young people living in Manhattan.FRIENDS is the only show that never gets old ,it doesn't matter you are watching for the first or the billionth time.There are many factors that makes it One of the best TV shows ever made.
>CHARACTERS- One of the biggest positive of the show is it gives you characters that grows on you characters you fall in love with and characters whom life you start to care about.Mind you, I am not just referring to main characters even small characters like Gunther or Estelle or Heckles,everyone fits perfectly.
>HUMOR- One of the biggest drawbacks of a sitcom is that usually after a few seasons humor becomes monotonous and boring but hats off to the directors for maintaining the humor quotient for 10 seasons.Every episode has decent amount of humor and most of the episodes are just hilarious.
>MAIN CAST- Its hard to create 6 characters that people love equally.Talking about other sitcoms,if you change the stars apart from Sheldon in BBT ,Barney in HIMYM show will still work because everyone else contributes very little comparatively to the show being a huge success.But you take anyone out of FRIENDS show won't work.Everyone plays their part so perfectly as if they were born to play Monica, Chandler, Joey, Ross,Rachel and Phoebe.

Acting wise David Schwimmer,Mathew Perry and Lisa Kudrow standout but the GOD of SARCASM Chandler Bing will remain as my favourite TV character of all time.Its hard to describe further in words as you have to watch it to live it.If you haven't watched FRIENDS yet,Leave whatever you are doing and watch it.STRICTLY RECOMMENDED

Once You start watching Friends..U cannot stop..Most sitcoms become boring after a few seasons..but not this one. The freshness and humour has been maintained throughout all the 10 seasons. Each and every character has different attributes and has been played by 6 wonderful and talented artists. The track of the show never gets boring. These characters eventually become a part of your life and when the show ends, a big part of your life seems to be lost.
The direction is also great. My favourite character is JOey!! :)

Friends is literally the king of TV series. I can watch it at any time of the day. Be it morning afternoon or midnight. Friends have always been there for me. Ross, Chandler, Joey, Monica, Rachel and phoebe are everyone's friends. They belong to us. That's how successful the show is. Nothing can beat them.

Friends...A show you could watch many times without getting bored.Split into 10 seasons, this by far, is the #best English series of our times. The characters have lived after their virtual deaths and the episodes have become immortal. I bet my life on the fact that there is no one who can stop watching this in the middle. Its a fact that some of the best depictions on the screen are the ones closest to reality. There are no CAN-DO-NOTHING-WRONG heroes, FELL-FROM-HEAVEN heroines, IMPOSSIBLE circumstances or MAN-AGAINST-ALIENS/ROBOTS/DISEASES. F.R.I.E.N.D.S is a masterpiece because of the fact that everyone of us can relate to the people and the incidents on the screen. They are careless, casual, non-chalant and funny.This series makes complete justice to the words "The best comedy arises from the deepest sorrows".

This series will teach you about brotherhood, friendship (of course), love, relationships, screwing up, having babies (literally!), standing for each other, the best funny jokes you'd ever come across, the most emotional moments you will ever witness - this show has everything - from sugar and spice to everything nice - from something old something new, something borrowed, something blue - to "RUGBY v/s FOOTBALL" to long distance relationship and even long-distance marriages! This show is not just a TV-show, but a LIFETIME EXPERIENCE for the viewers and a standard that the six of them have set for the future generations that nobody has been able to beat (not even one show has come closer to matching the standard of F.R.I.E.N.D.S.)!

Friends follows the lives of a group, Ross, Rachel,Monica,Chandler,Joey and Phoebe who are 20 somethings living in New York and learning to struggle with life as they find comfort and solace amongst each other. It ran for 10 seasons and there isn't even a single episode which won't make you laugh till your sides ache. A must watch!

Why do I like FRIENDS so much?
Sitting all by myself with my coffee mug in the balcony,I asked this to myself. Its a wonderful night. The kind of night which spurs the philosopher in you. Unlike others I started watching friends after college. Well obviously its a great show,great humor,perfect chemistry,brilliant story-line etc. Besides the obvious,perhaps there are deeper reasons.It gives me a hollow feeling of completeness when I get awed by an awesome friendship bond that spanned across a decade. While Chandler is giving an awesome speech on relationships,I am sitting in front of my laptop screen trying to make sense out of my life. My day doesn't begin with a coffee at central perk. They begin in a cubicle in-front of dual monitor with a monotonicity I hate.
While they celebrate every moment of their lives together,I can't count a single soul with whom i can share my coffee moment. While they successfully flaunt their everlasting bond of friendship,I can't even recall the last time I had a chat with any of my college friend(minus the flat mates). Everyone seemed to have moved on their lives following their own trail. Just that everyone took a different road,and our roads diverged from each other and before I can realize I can't see any of you here.College was so much different. There were variants of joeys' and chandlers'.
Its a show that will bring out the most intricate emotions in you. If there was a ever a thing that's "Must Watch",this is it,this is it,this is IT.

If you are looking for a bright-humored, witty and and a series with positive vibes at the end of the day, Friends is just the right thing for you. It doesn't actually matter if the series is over, it is something that has the capability to add every bit of optimism to its audience. The show contains the fun filled journey of six friends who live in the same apartment, the various up and downs of their lives and the relationships they go through throughout the series. The contrast of the each of the leads are striking and sometimes quite strange (in a good way!) and the consistency of humor for each and every episode is what made the series successful in the first place. Rachel, Ross, Chandler, Monica, Joey, Phoebe. You can never decide which one is the craziest or funniest or wittiest or weirdest, because it just keeps getting better with time. It never gets old, trust me. And no matter how many times you watch it, it feels like you are watching it all over again. I think the best thing about the show is the uniqueness of the characters and how you fall in love with them with every passing episode. It doesn't matter if it is the sarcastic Chandler, or the weird Phoebe or the silly Joey, you just love them. And if you want to just keep your head light and relaxed, Friends will probably do the thing for you. A lot of people out there actually try to tell me that Friends is a stupid show, but seriously guys? A beautiful story of six friends trying to get their shit together and striving to live a life of their choice. Mingled Love story, complicated professional and personal life. A perfect recipe for humor and rejuvenation.

There never has been a sitcom that truly pictures life among the singles (twenty-something) as good as this show does. It's not just comedy, it presents the episodes in such a way that one can truly identify with the situations they face so the audience has something to talk about in coffee shops too. The humor is universal. I feel like I'm part of the group every time I watch it because I feel the different emotions they go through. Plus, of course, it is so much fun because it's fast-paced. Every scene and every moment is relative to what is going to happen next so you don't feel like it is dragging you onto nothing. Just like how a sitcom should be. Funny!
Unlike the one-dimensional blackhearts that peopled Seinfeld, this was a sitcom about nothing that was resolutely about something: friendship, of course. It veered dangerously close to soap opera territory at times (particularly in this final season, as the thuddingly dull Ross/Rachel saga twisted and turned unconvincingly), but the key to Friends was empathy: we genuinely cared for these characters as they developed.

We’ve watched the emasculation of Chandler; the cunning development of Ross from a whiner into an über-whiner, bringing David Schwimmer’s physical comedy gifts to the fore; Phoebe’s transformation from slightly sluttish kook into loyal wife; and Joey’s subtle relocation as the heart and conscience of the show (which won Matt LeBlanc his forthcoming spin-off).

For its resolute perkiness and mainstream appeal, Friends will never be as critically celebrated as the more mean-spirited likes of Curb Your Enthusiasm, and there were times when the standard dipped alarmingly — Season Five, anyone? — but we always had the Chandler-Joey double act, Monica in a fat suit and innumerable catchphrases — "I know!", "We were on a break!", "How yoo doin’?" — to bring us back. Simply put, it made us laugh like hell for ten years straight. Could there be a better epitaph than that?

This show is about six adults,who are indulged in adventures which makes their life happening and troublesome both.
