Ayushman + Funny Dialogues make it watchable!

Ayushmann Khurrana is on the roll. He is giving back to back hits. He loves to do a different kind of role in each film. This time he has become Pooja, a dream girl to many people of his city. It is a fun ride for the audience.

Directed by Raaj Shaandilyaa, Dream Girl is about a boy who is stuck in the job of a call center where he has to attend calls from the people of his city and talk to them in the voice of a girl, named Pooja. People fall in love with this imaginary girl. And thus, this is becoming tough for the boy in his real life. How does he manage to escape from that is the story-line of the film.

If this film does not have Ayushmann, it would have become flop. But, when you have Khurrana, your eyes are glued on the screen. Also, there is Nushrat Barucha to catch your eyeballs time by time. But I guess she is wasted here. Manjot Singh as friend and Annu Kapoor as father are two strong pillars of this movie. Both have rocked it in the second half for sure. Loved their presence in the film very well. Others are good.

Music is poor. I don't know how these tunes got selected! None of them looks original to me. That romantic song reminds me of Dekhte Dekhte song from Batti Gul. Radhe Radhe is the only likable song. But its choreography is okayish.

I think the treatment of the story-line is similar to Vicky Donor. While watching the film, I had a doubt that making money from sperm donation was understandable, but how does he making so much money from a call center? I didn't get the threats by the owner of that center, too. Why. Bhaiya Why?

Dialogues are fantastic. The oxygen of the film. And I think the film will work on box office just because of its dialogues. They are superbly written. Loved all the one liners. Especially by Manjot and Annu. My most favourite scene is when Ayush and Manjot go to hospital and while they are shouting, one lady interrupts and tell them not to raise your voice, as her husband had ear surgery. 'Dhire boliye, Inke Kaan ka operation hua hai.' To which Manjot replies, 'Kya! Uncle ko Bawasir hua hai?' Hahaha..

On the whole, It was not that good. But I guess trailer said it all. Just go to enjoy the one liners. It will surely make you laugh. And Belated happy birthday to dream-boy Ayushmann Khurrana!
