Apharan by Alt Balaji is one of the best series released in 2018. Everything about the show is top notch. The dialogue delivery, the screen time of all the characters, the story line, the acting skill of the cast and the audio tracks are just marvelous, to say the least. I really loved the one liners present in the show and the natural acting of the cast which makes you so involved with the plot that you start living it as well. The show presents the gangster vibes in its own special way which makes it different from the other crime thriller series. A must-watch for all.

What seems like a pretty simple case of a cop, Rudra, getting framed in a criminal case and put behind the bars, is something that completely turns erratic and adds the needed thrust to the plot line. How later this cop actually turns to kidnapping a rich man's daughter is hilarious. It's just the right mixture of the desi-ness, masala and nicely written dialogues. Honestly, being an ALT Balaji Original, it didn't seem promising at first, however, it came around pretty fast. Overall, it's exactly just the right plot that would cater to the Indian masses. Nicely produced. Even if you're not into this type of content, it would be a great one-time watch.

This series is set in Haridwar. Its a #LOLFunny and #actionPacked series which is full of suspense. Every episode of this series is full on entertaining and keeps you hooked to your laptops. This series has old music themes clubbed to it and this has made it very awesome. The work of he lead actor Arunoday Singh is very much appreciable . Apharan is an Indian action suspense thriller by ALT Balaji. It follows the story of a cop tricked into kidnapping a girl at the mother's behest, at first it looks like a simple case of extortion but how the plan goes haywire is all what this show is about. Arunoday Singh is brilliant as the protagonist and gives a solid performance and so does the supporting cast. The show has the right mixture of humor and drama. The dialogues are impactful and entertaining. After an array of web series, Apharan is ALT Balaji's finest work. It is full masala and completely worth your time.

Set against the backdrop of the holy city of Haridwar, the story revolves around a cop-turned-gangster. The story of a man, the love of his life and the other woman, this ‘abduction’ drama has been beautifully wrapped in a mix of masala, swift comic bouts, emotion and a lot of mind-boggling twists.
Director Siddharth Sengupta has adeptly put actors Arunoday Singh, Mahie Gill, Nidhi Singh, Sanjay Batra, Monica Chaudhary, Saanaad Verma and Varun Badola into the shoes of their characters and has created a startling suspenseful story for the audience.
The cop, who is removed from the position of a Crime Branch inspector, is desperate as his wife is having an affair, he has no job and everything is falling apart. Enter Mahie Gill’s character, the wife of a wealthy man. She offers this man a huge amount of money for something really big in return and that is how the story unfolds. The Ghats of Rishikesh, the bodyguards we see in the trailer, Saanaad Verma and Varun Badola’s characters, and the implausible abduction makes this show worth watching.
They have paid attention to little things, like dialect, costumes and dialogue really well. To reinstate that it is a true-blue UP-based drama, they have used too many cuss words.
Arunoday Singh, Mahie Gill and Nidhi Singh’s characters have done full justice to their respective roles. Arunoday Singh’s character will make you feel just as miserable as he feels on the screen; Nidhi Singh’s character adds a humourous yet charming element; while Mahie Gill, as usual, sets the screen on fire with her carnal yet witty character. Not to forget, Monica Chaudhary, who has done a great job as well.
The supporting characters add to the drama in the story and make it a thrilling crime drama. Apart from engaging performances, a twisted story, an unexpected climax several other elements add to the charm of the show.

Apharan is an Indian web series released by AltBalaji in 2018. It is an action-suspense web series directed by Siddharth Sen Gupta. It has a good storyline and the series has an amazing mystery. The screenplay is amazing, the director did a great job. Once I started the series I couldn’t control myself and watched the whole series in one day. It revolves around the story of a senior inspector Rudra Srivastava played by Arunoday Singh who is a specialist in solving kidnapping cases. An incident takes his job and his reputation and he is sent to jail. After coming out of jail he is lured into the kidnapping and murder of a girl named Anusha played by Monica Chaudhary. Further, this series shows his struggle of getting out of this mess. It is a must watch for the people who love mystery shows. It can be watched on the AltBalaji app. All the characters did a great job.
