Andhadhun Review

This is a Spoiler-free review of the movie Andhadhun, released on 5th October, 2018 and starring Ayushmann Khurrana, Tabu , Radhika Apte.

Bollywood hasn't been much prone to crime or drama thrillers. We have always experienced family drama, or comedy drama, or those nostalgic romantic dramas. We might also count action thrillers, in recent times and earlier also. Although there are quite a few thrillers, but a handful of them might have garnered positive reviews from both critics and audiences alike. Some examples of them being Badlapur, Johnny Gaddar, Drishyam, Special 26 and many more.

And a recent addition to this list is Andhadhun, starring Ayushmann Khurrana, while Tabu, Radhika Apte can be seen in supporting roles.

Now, talking about the plot. I would'nt give away any spoilers.

The story is all about a blind artist, who gets involved in a series of crime evnets which has been dealt in a quirky way, quite effectively. Ayushmann plays the artist , while Radhika Apte, her lover, and Tabu , I can't tell more than this.

Ayushmann has proved his mettle by potraying a blind artist. He is perfect in every scene. Looks like bollywood has ventured into that era, where small town lads are proving their mettle. Now bollywood is not just about the Khans, it's about the content. Radhika is also good.

Tabu is MAGNIFIQUE. I must say, she is the real soul and life of the film. She deserves a laud.

Coming to the direction, Sriram is outstanding. He should get more limelight and should make such more gems. His direction is perfect. The screenplayand writing is really great. They do not fail to create a masterpiece thriller and they deserve the praise. By adding some humour to the film, they make this film a near masterpiece.

Amit Trivedi is an underrated gem of Indian music. His scores are good to ears, and they will impress you.

Be it the songs or the background score, all are praiseworthy and fresh to listen to.

Conclusion: You can't just miss thrillers like this.
