All the bring places is actually a book that has been made into a movie. So for starters if you've read the book that means you've set high expectations for the movie and that's going to get you pretty disappointed. I'll try giving this review with very less spoilers.

The movie portrays the frail world of teenagers, having to deal with growing up yet being neither treated as an adult nor a child, their race to fit in and find a purpose, cope up with school assignments and tests and alongside make memories. Violet Markey, a walking oxymoron is a former popular student who stopped caring about the major aspects of life after the death of her sister. She meets Theodore Finch, in an unfortunate turn of events where she tries to take her life in the exact spot her sister died. From the moment he stops her, to the very end of his last breath he gives Violet various reasons she should live carefree and the be complete opposite of ordinary.

The movie felt rushed and the script inorganic. Also, there was a certain lack of chemistry between Violet and Finch. All throughout, the film tried to highlight mental health issues without even talking about what Finch was going through or why he was going through it. It felt like most of the parts were focused on Violet where Finch was always there for her but never the vice versa. Sadly suicide ended up being glamorised.

There could have been so much more to the movie that could have made it exceptional, but sadly stood enigmatic. The book described this artistic parts that weren't included in the movie, which is understandable because then the movie would be 5 hours long. Nonetheless the script missed a lot of meaningful acts which made the film feel deflated.
In conclusion it wasn't a bad watch, it you want to find something a little Inspiring and Romantic, which delivers a deep message making you emotional by the end of the movie then you should go right ahead and watch this.
