Airplane Mode is a foreign language movie that's originally in the Portuguese language but also dubbed to English. The movie is a Romantic Comedy.

Ana a social media influencer and star has her eyes glued to any electronic gadget she can lay her hands on. She's crashed her car more than 5 times in a month because she's always live streaming or on a call with someone while driving. And even after crashing the car her first instict is to put the photos of it on the "gram." Ana and her so called one month old boyfriend work for the same social media company "True Fashion." After her boyfriend breaks up with her while streaming it, so that he can gain more followers she gets into an accident where she was lucky enough to get away with her life. Her parents decide it's best for her to confiscate her phone, and instead of going to jail she sent of to live with her grandfather on a farm in a place with no cell service. There she meets John, a mechanic and his family. While living on the farm she uncovers her true identity and the tie it has to her family.

The movie was completely predictable. I cringed throught the movie and it was pretty awkward to watch. The storyline had no new content or any uniqueness that spoke out to me. It's just a light lazy watch. Nothing to be seriously taken.
