The Lobster (2015)

This movie caught my attention due to its binary thinking much like the way some people are thinking today. This movie centre's around two parts. First being, find a partner in this dystopian world (where being single is not allowed) or be turned into an animal. This part made the movie enjoyable for me as it had dark comedy aspects but also showed how desperate people can be when finding a partner. The second part focuses on the other side of the coin where if you do not find a partner but dont want to turn into an animal (I mean who does) then you run away and beome part of the loners/singles club where being a couple is not allowed. This part had me feeling anxious but also overthinking every aspect. Overall this movie had a good concept but not the best execution. For its lengthy run time I feel it could have rewarded its viewers with better resolution points throughout the movie. As it left this one viewer with more questions than answers.
