This is definitely worth a watch. It's slow to set up any coherent tension, but the intrigue you're given from the start is more than enough to get by, even for a 2 hour movie. The ultimatum this movie deals in is really one to tickle your brain with, all while trying to discern these characters' relationships with each other; you really can't pull yourself away. Even in the end, the stuff left vague, I feel, is better off for it.
One gripe I can see others having with this film is the delivery of the dialog, which is all given very, dryly, matter-of-factly, and with little to no emotion. It's funny, I didn't even know this movie and The Lobster shared a director when I was comparing them while watching. I think this movie does better in this format with horror than The Lobster did with drama, (the funny bits are good in both) as well as being a better commentary on human relationships. Bottom line is: Whether you like this director or not, you can't deny he makes some memorable stuff.
