when you have a solid material you should also have a solid visionary to transport it to screen. A.K sajan is handsdown one of the best scribes in the industry . he has moved his pen for movies like dhruvam , chinnthamanni kolacase etc , and these movies were massive blockbusters thanks to their execution.
but A.k sajan has yet to master the skill of moving his camera to tell a story. but having said that he has improved a lot from the dud assuravithu to give us a palpable thriller called puthiya niyamam

the movie suffers a lot from bad direction , over exploitation of background score, and amateurish cinematography , let alone its wafer thin plot and its narration. we dont feel astonished let alone thrilled with the finale even though some of the incidents crafted in the movie is clever enough to entice the audience for a very small amount of time. #stabStab

could have been better if it was left to a capable directors hands.
