Blush's this series have gone all the way in experimenting by mixing two genres, it is an effortless blend of Fashion and Mystery. one can watch it for it's absolute mystery and an urban version of whodunit sprinkled with fashion everywhere.
The story begins with the introduction to Alisha Loona the lead of the series who was living her life in California, studying in her dream fashion school but destiny was not on her side she got entangled in a narcotic mess , obviously she was wrongly accused of it. Soon after that she was kicked out of her fashion school and she lands up to Mumbai at her best friend's place and from here her extraordinary life unfolds.
Alisha is a crime thriller and does its perfect job in entertaining the Indian audiences as well as giving them a female detective with whom the audience can relate and look up to. The hardcore crime/ thriller lover may not find it that fascinating as most it revolves around the fashion world and it is with the character's knowledge on fashion she resolves all the mysteries. The series begin with subtle mystery but as the story proceed towards the end there comes a quiet hefty dose of mystery embellished with all the pearls and frills.
what i didn't like about it would the dialog delivery, dialog were delivered faster than it should be and the lead through out the series didn't do much with her expression, most of the time she maintained a straight face. although the script is full witty dialog yet it looses steam when Alisha solves the mystery but doesn't really throws a light on how she does it. The aestheticism of the direction was well maintained and the monologues in the title track was spot on. Continuous sponsor integration was slightly annoying as at many places it was felt unnecessary. Overall might turn out to be a bummer for hardcore thriller lovers but if one has to mix up fashion with Sherlock this series is absolutely a watch-watch thing for them.

An under-rated masterpiece
Alisha is a fun filled, girly web-series spun with suspense and adventurous plot. I am definitely going to recommend this to all. I feel it is highly under-rated, maybe because it has relatively lesser target audience due to its presence in a women-eccentric youtube channel-Blush. But seriously, it has some thought -provoking dialogues and amazing screenplay. I loved watching Alisha till the end without ever feeling bored. To all the fashion loving girls out there, this is an absolute thriller and a must watch. The best remedy when you are feeling low; this web-series gives immense boost to self-confidence, encouraging you to believe that you can conquer the world with Watson by your side!
