Led by Yvette Fielding, the programme investigated purported paranormal activity in many locations in the United Kingdom, Republic of Ireland and other countries. It was produced by Antix Productions and broadcast on the satellite and cable channels Living TV, Livingit, and Channel One. In the United States it was broadcast on the Travel Channel.

Guests have reported hearing children playing in the long imposing corridors in the middle of the night and others have had to flee their rooms, unable to talk about what they have witnessed. The investigation team headed straight for the areas which were known to have the most paranormal activity, the 4th floor & room 401.

4. Waverly Hills Sanatorium – Kentucky
25 Nov '08Thought to be one of the Most Haunted locations in North America, the Waverly Hills Sanatorium Kentucky is a truly a horrific location. The Most Haunted team were pushed to their limits at this old run down and derelict Hospital. The team carried out a massive group walk-around, because they were too scared to be alone at first, which produced activity that shocked them all.

5. The Exeter Old Courts
02 Dec '08Yvette Fielding & the Most Haunted team are in Devon, investigating Exeter Old Courts with their long and bloody history - many would have been sentenced to death there over the years. It was also the location of the infamous Bideford witch trails which resulted in the last ever hanging for witchcraft in England. Given its fascinating history, which in turn has generated many stories of ghostly sightings, it is little wonder that Most Haunted have chosen to investigate.

Originally a seaside palace which was the summer estate used by rich industrialist George Allen and his family for 83 years. 16. The Conference House – Staten Island
03 Mar '09The Conference House, or Billop house as it is sometimes known, is a colonial mansion on Staten Island, New York. It is historically significant because a peace conference was held here in an attempt to stop the Revolutionary War. The investigation team held a large group séance in the kitchen basement of the house and the results were amazing.
