The series was filmed in black and white and originated from an hour drama called Seven Against the Sea, broadcast on April 3, 1962. Universal commissioned the colorization of the series in the 1980s for syndication in hope of reviving its popularity.

15 Mar '66During an attempt to impress a famous War Correspondent, Binghamton is taken prisoner by a German patrol, who have disguised themselves as American Sailors. After Parker is also captured, McHale and the guys come to the rescue, and wind up having their picture on the cover of a popular magazine.
