I wasn't sure what to expect when I saw this film for the first time but I was blown away by how brilliant it was. The cast is fantastic, Elizabeth Moss gives one of the best and most captivating performances of 2020. Its impossible not to get sucked in to the story pretty much right away and the film just keeps getting better and better. The way the film builds up tension is spectacular and the third act is nothing short of brilliant. I'm just really impressed with this film and the fact that it turned out this great with the budget that it had is admirable.

A pretty decent comedy with a wonderful cast. 13 Going on 30 is a delightful film that always puts a smile on my face, I love the performances from Jennifer Garner and Mark Ruffalo and it has some genuinely hilarious moments. Not all the jokes land for me and I think the film slows down quite a bit in the third act but overall I enjoy this film.

A very predictable film with some weak story elements throughout but I cant deny that I was entertained from beginning to end anyway and Michael B Jordan delivers a fantastic and believable performance. Most of the action sequences are shot extremely well and are quite brutal which I honestly appreciated and the fight choreography felt very real. Without Remorse has its fair share of issues but overall I had a good time watching it.

A movie musical full of magic, talent and incredible songs. The greatest showman does have some pacing issues and it goes down hill a bit in the second act but overall its a great film and I cant get over how phenomenal the songs are. Hugh Jackman delivers such a believable and honest performance and I loved how obvious it was that he cared for this role. I loved the characters and I wish some of them had been fleshed out more but overall they were all great. I really enjoyed this film.

This isn't the type of film I would normally enjoy but 10 Things I hate about you it a classic and there is something so effortlessly charming and likeable about it. The cast is full of talented actors including a young Heath Ledger and a young Joseph Levitt who both deliver terrific performances. The humor works for the most part and I was honestly surprised by how many times I laughed out loud watching the film. I really enjoy this film.

Zodiac is an intense and gripping Drama film surrounding the real life unsolved Zodiac killer case. David Fincher was the perfect director for this film and the cast is incredible. Downey and Ruffalo are amazing but Jake Gyllenhaal is the stand out for me his performance is phenomenal and I found his character and his determination to solve the case the most interesting part of the film. The tension is high throughout the majority of the film and despite its long runtime its almost impossible not to get fully invested in the story. There are a couple of things that keep me from loving the film completely but overall its a great film.

One of my favourite MCU films. Thor Ragnarok is easily one of the most entertaining films of the past decade, it is absolutely hilarious and the action sequences throughout the film are just phenomenal. The soundtrack is without a doubt the best in the MCU and the cast is fantastic. I loved all the characters and Hela is one of the best MCU villains and she is played to perfection by Cate Blanchette. The visual effects are outstanding and I love how colourful the film looks. This film just always puts the biggest smile on my face and I could probably watch it every day and never get bored of it.

Booksmart is a fantastic comedy and a great coming of age film. there are a few jokes that don't quite land for me but other than that I pretty much love everything here. Olivia Wilde did a phenomenal job directing this film and the cast is terrific, Beanie Feldstein and Kaitlyn Dever are so believable in their roles and they have some of the best on screen chemistry of 2019. aside from a few lacklustre jokes this film is hilarious but it has so much heart too and its such an undeniably charming film. I just think its a fantastic film and the type of teen comedy we just don't get enough off these days.

I have seen this film 10 times now since it came out and I cant wait to watch in many more times. I remember walking in to see this film expecting to enjoy it and being almost overwhelmed by how much I loved it, Who would have thought a film about spider beings from different dimensions would be this phenomenal. My only issue with this film is Kingpin he is a pretty forgettable villain and I wish his ark had been fleshed out more but other than that everything about this film is perfect in my opinion. the unique and stylish animation is so incredible and the soundtrack is terrific. The characters are fantastic and Miles Morales is such a relatable and interesting lead. The film is hilarious but delivers plenty of touching scenes as well, the scene where Miles is listening to his father talk outside the door is so emotionally moving and beautiful. This is such a special movie and I love it so much.

Baby driver is absolutely one of the coolest, unique and stylish films of the past decade and I love every minute of it. This film is shot to perfection and not a single frame in the entire film feels out of place, the action sequences are phenomenal and the soundtrack is incredible. Baby is a great character because he's just a guy caught up in a bad situation it easily feels like he could be a real person and I love that and despite my dislike for Ansel Elgort I cant deny that he is phenomenal in this film. The rest of the cast is great too and I especially loved the believable and intimidating performance from Jamie Foxx. The film is incredibly entertaining it doesn't slow down or lose momentum once it just consistently delivers what you want from this type of movie. The car driving sequences are some of the best ever, the attention to detail is just so incredible and its shot perfectly. the dialogue is terrific there are so many hilarious and quotable lines in the film. For me movies don't get much better than Baby driver.
