Fantastic Four: World's Greatest Heroes : Season 1

Air date: 02 Sep '06 - 26 episodesFantastic Four: World's Greatest Heroes is an animated television series based on the Marvel Comics' Fantastic Four comic book series and the movie itself. The series is the team's fourth foray into animation, and combines two-dimensional anime-style art and three-dimensional computer animation produced by the France-based animation company MoonScoop, and is also produced by MoonScoop division Taffy Entertainment. All in collaboration with Cartoon Network. In the United States, the show suffered an erratic airing schedule on Cartoon Network, having premiered as part of Toonami on September 2, 2006 but only running for 8 of the season's 26 episodes before being pulled without explanation. It returned to the network starting June 9, 2007, shortly before the release of the film Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer, but again, only nine further episodes were aired, leaving nine installments unaired in the USA. The show aired on Boomerang for a brief time before moving to the Nicktoons Network...

1. Trial by Fire
02 Sep '06Due to the line of Kree Sentries - alien robots that have been observing the Fantastic Four - having been destroyed, Johnny is put on trial by Ronan the Accuser against the Kree Empire. Ben and Susan are set to defend him, and Reed is chosen as his lawyer. However, since Johnny is already presumed guilty before the trial starts, it's not going to be easy.

2. Doomed
09 Sep '06Dr. Doom manages to transfer his mind into Reed's body by hacking his consciousness. Reed, who is now trapped in Dr. Doom's body, must now figure out a way to return to his friends and family, or else Dr. Doom will destroy the Fantastic Four and several city blocks by transforming the Baxter Building into his new weapon.

28 Oct '06Things take a turn for the worse when Johnny gives his friend Frankie an unauthorized tour of Reed's lab. When Frankie is sucked into another dimension, Johnny goes in after her to prevent anyone from finding out. But as he does so, a small bug comes through the dimensional portal. Susan, Ben, and Reed now have to deal with the bug, while Frankie and Johnny are trapped in the other dimension.
