Coronation Street : Season 61

Carla is confronted by lowlife Jordan. Daniel goes to a bash with Adam and meets a woman called Nicky. Roy tells David that Shona's being discharged from the rehab centre. Faye is angry to discover that Sally and Tim threw Geoff out.

Carla fronts up to Chelsey and Jordan. Scott hides a secret. Daniel agrees to a night with Nicky. David prepares for Shona's return to Weatherfield. Faye announces she's moving in with her grandad Geoff.

Daniel lies to Adam about his evening with Nicky. Tracy persuades Leanne to grant Oliver a trip out. Carla thanks Abi for her show of support.

David decides to take Shona to the Bistro for dinner, which proves too much for his Mum. He's amused when she reveals that she has stolen Ray's wallet. When Carla accuses Peter of beating up Jordan and Chelsey, he's offended and denies it. Daniel opens up to Nicky about Sinead, admitting how lonely he's become.

After Gemma tells Shona what a great relationship she had with David, Shona invites her hubby over. David is pleased, but then shocked when she tries to kiss him! There's some bad news that floors Steve and Leanne. Jenny returns from France - without Johnny. Fiz and Tyrone have a date night at home.

Leanne rejects Oliver's devastating diagnosis. Toyah and Imran celebrate some promising feedback. Alina's loyalty to Emma is tested.

Simon is wounded by Leanne's thoughtless words. Toyah sticks to her decision to abandon fostering. Fiz offers Chesney relationship tips.

Nick defends Leanne from Peter's criticism, and Jenny explains to Scott why Johnny stayed in France. Meanwhile, gatecrashers disturb Fiz and Tyrone's romantic evening.

When Toyah calls round to offer support, Leanne turns on her, insisting she has no idea how she's feeling. Sally's appalled to learn from Cathy how Geoff locked Yasmeen in his magic box. And when Michael reveals that he's got a date with Grace at the bistro, Aggie warns him not to get involved.

Nick suggests to Leanne that they should go to a support group for parents of terminally ill children, Tim is shocked to find out that Sally has visited Yasmeen, and Roy apologises for upsetting Evelyn.

Toyah accepts Leanne's apology for the awful things she said and introduces her sister to someone who may be able to help her. Abi blocks out the past. Much to Alya's dismay, Geoff returns to work at Speed Daal. He the secretly pinches her phone when he learns she's expecting a call from Yasmeen.

Geoff offers to drop his complaint against Yasmeen. Imran confides in Nick about his plans with Toyah. Aggie appeals to Grace on Michael's behalf.

Geoff's latest manipulation of Yasmeen horrifies Alya. Abi informs Seb that the twins are moving abroad. Carla decides to get back to business.

Kevin invites Abi to move in to Number 13. Carla returns to her old stomping ground. Geoff is shocked to receive a call from Yasmeen.

Geoff uses his hospital radio show to talk about how he has forgiven Yasmeen and wants to help her. Abi moves into No 13, and when Adam spots Sinead's cardigan poking out of his bag, Daniel is embarrassed.

Yasmeen phones Geoff with a surprising message, and Adam suspects that Gary has killed Rick. Nicky informs Daniel they could do more than talk for the money he's paying her.

Yasmeen collapses on the first day of her trial, and Gary is concerned by Brian's interest in Beacon Woods because of a potential stash of Roman coins. Meanwhile, Ed worries that Aggie is working far too hard at the hospital.

Yasmeen wakes up after a heart attack, and Brian is annoyed that Bernie found a watch in the woods and sold it to Sarah. Meanwhile, Abi tells Ed that Aggie can use Kevin's car until hers is fixed as the neighbourhood is grateful for putting herself on the front line at the hospital.

Ed is gutted that Aggie has to isolate at a hotel on their 30th wedding anniversary, and Sarah demands to know if Gary killed Rick, before he is hit by a car. Elaine calls Alya and confirms that she's prepared to give evidence against Geoff.

Gary fights for his life, and Adam senses Sarah is lying about her showdown with her ex. Meanwhile, Alya implores Elaine not to leave as she is the only hope of securing Yasmeen's freedom, and Ed sits down to a virtual anniversary dinner with Aggie via video call.

Police ask Sarah about the accident, and why she called 999 before the collision happened. In Roy's Rolls, Elaine introduces herself to Sally, and explains that she is Tim's mother. And Jenny sympathizes with Abi over the twins' imminent departure for Australia.

Sally implores Tim to accept that Elaine could be telling the truth and Geoff could have fed him a pack of lies all his life. Elsewhere, Leanne is overwhelmed with grief, and when Carla lets slip that Gary's binned his threat of a rent increase, Maria's concerned.

Geoff swears that Elaine is peddling lies, she's not Tim's Mum and Alya must have put her up to it in a bid to drive a wedge between them. Leanne urges Toyah to set the fostering wheels in motion as she deserves some happiness. And Adam seethes when Sarah fails to mention Gary's change of heart over the rent.

Bernie tells Adam the saga of Rick's watch. Alya resolves to sell Speed Daal to escape Geoff. Nina bears the brunt of Steve's emotional turmoil.

Adam orders Sarah to reveal all she knows about Gary's misdeeds. Leanne offers Steve a shoulder to cry on. Gemma hears from an old adversary.
