Air date: 17 Sep '83 - 26 episodesAlvin and the Chipmunks is an American animated television series featuring The Chipmunks, produced by Bagdasarian Productions in association with Ruby-Spears Enterprises from 1983–87, and DIC Entertainment from 1988–90. It aired from 1983 to 1990 on NBC and is the follow-up to the original 1961–62 series, The Alvin Show. The show introduced The Chipettes, three female Chipmunks with their own human caretaker, Miss Beatrice Miller. In 1988, the show switched production companies to DiC Enterprises and was renamed just The Chipmunks. In 1987, during the show's fifth season, the Chipmunks' first animated feature film, The Chipmunk Adventure, was released to theaters by The Samuel Goldwyn Company. The film was directed by Janice Karman and featured the Chipmunks and Chipettes in a contest traveling around the world. In its eighth and final season, the show again switched titles to The Chipmunks Go to the Movies. Each episode was a spoof of a Hollywood film like Back to the Future or King...

The Chipmunks later not only find out that Harry is not their uncle but also the money he has them making is for a carnival strongman who he has owed for a long time.

4. Rock 'n' Robot
24 Sep '83The Chipmunks create a robot out of Alvin's video game, so that it can carry all of their equipment to their concerts. But, the robot goes beserk when it begins to capture every hat it sees, like the video game, it was created from, and It's up to Alvin, Simon, and Theodore to stop the robot.

But when Theodore loses the addresses, the boys are sent on a birthday mission, for a 100 dollar bonus. Except, that when Theodore wrote the number he wrote it upside down, so the Chipmunks end up going to the wrong house and are tricked into doing some different pranks for some highschoolers who are bored.

05 Nov '83The boys enter a contest so that they can win a chance to sing with Dolly Parton. But, the only way they can win is if they are from Nashville. The boys enter the contest anyway, but make an enemy when they win. The person who got second place in the drawing is determined to prove that the Chipmunks aren't from Nashville, and win his chance to sing with Dolly Parton.

26 Nov '83Dave drags the Chipmunks unwillingly on a camping trip in the great out doors. When they finally arrive, the Chipmunks discover large footprints and think they are being followed by Bigfoot. Eventually they build a treehouse for Dave, when he falls and injures himself badly, and Alvin and Simon go in search for Big Foot.
