Best of the psychological thriller
"Who are you? What have we done to each other?" the line reverberates and Amy Dunne played by Rosamund Pike stares at you with void, cold, sinister eyes. The scene shifts to Nick Dunne played by Ben Affleck - a very heartbroken, tired man running to his pub (owned by his sister too) to find solace on the day of his fifth wedding anniversary, playing board game. But as he comes back he realizes his wife, Amy, is missing and left behind clues (which was her favorite game on their wedding anniversary).
The story picks up from here and creates an amazing tension among the viewers- the conflict of characterization from Nick's point of view how Amy changed from being a loving caring wife to a person whom Nick cannot even recognize, the problems they never speak about but looming in their head, the serious cause of doubting, mistrust- giving a picture how Amy became unreachable and unbearable. The marriage became a farce. Now with every minute the story gets more and more twisted leaving hungry for answers. The sequence of the movie is mindblowingly riveting- as you do not know what will happen next. And hell it does end with a bang! leaving behind you with the question- "Who are you? What have we done to each other?"
As the poster suggests the grey, gloomy sky and the hollow faces- the story is gloomy, spine chilling, intense psychological drama and the best of the thriller, which needs to be watched - what happens to the beautiful, ravishing Amy Dunne?

Great watch
Piku, directed by Shoojit Sircar brings out the bonding between father and his daughter. The character of the daughter, Piku (portrayed by Deepika Padukone) who works as an architect stays in Delhi with her ageing father (portrayed by Amitabh Bacchchan) shows how the father is dependent and attached to Piku- it might looks complaining and nagging but that is how exactly all the fathers are, who suddenly decides to go to Kolkata by road (as train might disrupt his bowel movement). And Piku had to agree to it, as her baba would not let go without persuasion. With the beautiful songs by Anupam Roy, splendid acting of these finest actors brings out the life of the movie. It literally soaks you in the constant journey of bickering and the love (which is subtle) makes you want to love your parents more and more.

one time watch
Here goes my non biased, honest review on How I met your mother. I will have to agree that I was skeptical whether I want to watch the series after watching Friends, heard lot of things how it is copied and it has no proper storyline yet I watched it ardently (couldn't have feel better for Todd played by Josh Radnor at the finale episode) loved every bit of the episodes. The best catch of this series is the tale of Todd and Robin (played by Cobbie Smulders)- flowing through the entire series knowingly and unknowingly. It is understandable why the title does not really justify the story but that is the twist! the title does not give away the story in the first place, it makes you wait till the end. The prominence of "the mother" could have been more but nevertheless Barney Stinson (played by Neil Patrick Harris) with his legen- wait for it- dary dialogues, forever accepting challenges, following Bro code rigorously made it engaging and funny , Lilly (played by Alison Hannigan) and Marshall (Jason Segel) the cute, adorable couple who are ready to do anything for each other and for friends (more like couple goals) especially sorting out their friend's Todd's life made it a hysterical ride altogether- this series cannot be compared with Friends (no doubt) but has got a different whiff. Watch it for once.

Cute can be the only word for the movie!
Seeing Rose McIver (not being a zombie but a human, eating normal food and not feasting on brain- if anybody watches Izombie would get my reference) playing a role of journalist has been the sweetest treat for my eyes and so is Ben Lamb (the prince). The story has no complicated plot but very simple yet with a small twist. Two people young at heart accompanying them a fiesty little revolting princess, with a hawk eye Queen and her assistance in a humongous palace - unless ex girlfriend decides to pay a visit and a very envious cousin drops in suddenly interested in the position of becoming a king deserves a watch with a hot chocolate and marshmallow- trust me the movie makes you that mushy, all christmassy that you want to sprinter from your seat, start decorating your christmas tree and baking ginger bread cookies. Or at least get your christmas decorations ready- c'mon guys! the movie will put a huge smile on your face (at least it was plaster on mine)the magical, dreamy ball in the very gorgeous blue and sparkly gown makes you wanna cry (out of happiness- your heart can't even take that much). So get along in this movie ride it will not disappoint you. It is a big giant quest towards Christmas

Truly from a person who binges on romanticism.

Best of the coming of age bollywood movie
Wake up Sid, directed by Ayan Mukherji brings out the story of two beautiful souls played by Ranbir Kapoor and Konkona Sen Sharma amidst the land of dreams 'Bombay' (as used in the movie). The story is about Sid Mehra (Ranbir Kapoor) who is a rich spoiled brat does not care about life let alone college- loves partying and hanging out with friends. Swiping his credit card in every possible luxurious splurges, who cares about credit card statement! meets with Aisha (Konkona Sen Sharma) an aspiring writer all the way from Calcutta (Kolkata) at his college farewell party- they immediately bonded over their aspirations and dreams with a view of beautiful sea at Marine drive accompanying hot drink. Then it turned out helping her in shifting to her new flat, decorating it and celebrating her birthday (ditching his parents wedding anniversary). The movie strongly focused on these two stark characters how one is not ready to own up to their responsibilities and how another one is strongly independent. The infusion of these two characters, the molding and accepting themselves has been beautifully crafted through and through. The acting is so strong it gets under your skin. And last but not the least Mumbai city plays an integral part showing it can be really a softy at times- especially when it is raining and it is not always about how to survive. The romance, the friendship, life engulfs you literally.
