The movie isn’t a typical love story because the love is only as essential element of the whole plot and not the sum-up of it. Coming down to the story line, based on a Nicholas Spark Novel, defining it to be an out-of-the-season portrayal of universality of love. The movie contains a heartfelt conclusion of two polar opposite teenagers who face peer struggles and the perils of love and death. The superb and top notch acting done by Mandy Moore and Shane West apart from the undying message of the movie makes one fall for the story so much that one ends up imagining himself to be one of the characters in the real life. All these factors make this movie one of my all-time favorites. Highly recommended.

A horror movie that involves a perfect blend of complex issues faced by adults and children (not to precocious). The over-rated advertisement of Esther’s dual faced role (as seen in the poster) and Vera F-Factor giving a sense of intense horror among the viewers makes the movie much more exciting and quite unpredictable. The actress who plays Esther shows a skill in performance. The movie has its own moments and often can end up sending shivers down your spine and giving you Goosebumps. The appreciable direction of Jaume Collet-Serra and one of the Dark Castle's best films, it can considered as an intelligent portrayal of horror/suspense genre.

Based on a plot of destruction and devastation, Flowers Of War portrays one of the worst atrocities of the 19th century, the Japanese brutality and Nanking destruction in the winter of 1937-38 and the complete massacre of about 300,00 civilians. Directed by Zhang Yimou, one of the China’s most talented film-makers, it has described an appalling happening as a fictionalised plot. Again a superb Christian Bale performance as a mercenary American mortician, who initially poses as a priest to save himself is pretty appreciable. The U-turn of the whole plot arrives in the form of a transformation of John Miller’s (Christian Bale) soul from a show-off priest to a saintly figure helping a dozen beautiful whores to sacrifice themselves in order to protect a group of teenage convent pupils from rape and mutilation. Though the ending is quite a bit off-the-road and is a mere depiction of the Hollywood sentiment as an Anti-Japanese propaganda during the Second World War but one can recommend this as a Must Watch.
