If someone wants to know real India, its here. It smartly pictured all aspects of rural India, which was once golden sparrow. Series of intense scenes increases the attention of audience and make it memorable movie. same can be said for acting. Nargis is too good to realize that this is not reality. Many times it seems that real life going on. Some of best scenes are in first half which keeps audience mourning all the time. Basic plot of story is nicely presented. Many of city people thinks that women in village are not free and can not do anything. But this type of movie show value of women in rural society. There are many Radha can be found in Rural India. Its just they have aligned themselves in the benefit of their family, their welfare. This was the finest of masterpiece of the golden era of bollywood, and feeling sad that only few movies today are honoring the glory of bollywood like Mother India did.

The ultimate X-Men ensemble fights a war for the survival of the species across two time periods."
That right there was enough to give me a wet dream! Hyped as the X-Men movie that most fans have been waiting for (especially since X2: X-Men United back in 2003 was such a massive leap forward), as a big fan of the original comic series, it lived up to that hype in a BIG way!
What so many other super-hero movies fail to do, is to embrace both intimate melodrama and tongue-in-cheekiness to make a spectacular mix of intensity and fun, balanced with just the right amount of interesting characters. Another challenge that this movie masters well, is finding a character that the viewer will cheer for... it most definitely doesn't fall short. (Except for Sentinals. Sentinals are dicks.) Heck, even Tyrion Lannister, and Katniss Everdeen are in this movie! Generally, the faster I finish my popcorn the more exciting the film is, and I did stuff my face very quickly.
'Days Of Future Past' also continues the X-Men tradition of being politically and sociologically conscious and relevant, bearing a number of allegorical references that fit squarely with many issues faced in modern society.(Cue philosophical discussions here). The special effects are mighty, the humor is sharp and in abundance and the dialogue is alive & breathing. Even though the film is sometimes erratic, the paradoxes of time-travel are exhilarating and extremely fun to watch, despite the complexities. All-in-all it's a mind blowing blockbuster that knocks you out!

Pratik Singh reviewed Fury
Fury has its truly astounding scenes while also having some forgettable scenes. No spoilers, but the movie would have been near gold had the ending not be so clich

More than 10 years after the movie was release i thought of putting my comments here. DDLJ as popularly known has surely redefined Indian cinema and its characters. However to me its just another average romantic Indian movie. This movie if at all belongs to Aditya Chopra only. The characters played by srk and kajol could have been played by any other actors as well. Same old Hindi dialogues, same old styles and why do srk replay same and same actor again? The songs are good, melodramatic and touchy. Few scenes in the movies are worth commending. However few scenes like the end fighting sequence were simply useless. This movie did marked a new carrer for srk, kajol and aditya chopra. srk has become a rage among girls. however it would be good for srk not to ride high on this. he should look to aamir khan and leagues of people like Big B. there is a lot to learn from them.

It's one of my favourite movies. People like DDLJ more, but I like this one more...
KKHH is a nice movie, two friends Rahul (SRK) and Anjali (Kajol) are fast friends but don't know they are in love. Rahul falls for the new girl in the college, Tina Malhotra (Rani Mukherjee), and Anjali goes back to her home. Rahul marries that new girl (Rani) and Rani passes away a year later while giving birth to her daughter. But she leaves behind a chain of letters for her daughter.
The second half is the real masterpiece of this movie. This part has the emotions, the real thing, which makes this movie go to the top. Salman Khan plays a short role, but its nice. Sana Saeed plays the daughter role perfectly.
Music? just marvellous. Every song is great. Tujhe Yaad Na Meri Aayi is a masterpiece. Saajanji Ghar Aye is superb. Title Track is gr8 and koi mil gaya is rocking. Raghupati Raghav Raja Ram is the new age song! superb!

I have seen this video about 30 times. The characters are easy to fall in love with, the songs are so well done and singable. Slightly different from the usual girl/boy story, we have a girl/boy/boy? story thats happy, triumphant, laughable, and sad. Really good songs, some produced low key, some with extravagant choreography and costuming. Just right. Neighbors, siblings and friends stories are well woven into overall plot. I first saw this film without subtitles, and still understood what was going on, caught almost all the jokes and felt the pain of Naina, Aman and Rohit. You will find yourself dreaming about them in your sleep - what if.....? Worth watching again and again.

This is a movie featuring Ghosts and made by Ghosts. People who have exhausted their quota of ideas and more importantly their USP's .
Directed by Yash Chopra . Featuring Shahrukh Khan in a Romantic role, Priety Zinta as a bubbly wench and Rani Mukherji as the conscientious damsel.
A weak plot. A screenplay steeped in uncommon drudgery and marked by mundane catch lines.
Performances below par. Shahrukh is not at all impressive in what he does. This I say, because Shahrukh 's entire career is pivoted on similar roles , where he has done better.
Preity Zinta looks pale and flabby. No charisma on her face. Her acting is BAD.
Rani Mukherji, she has done justice to her role. She's not great but not all that Bad.
The supporting cast is impressive on paper. Amitabh Bachchan, Anupam Kher,Divya Dutta, Hema Malini,Manoj Bajpai, Boman Irani, Kiron Kher....oh my God! It reminds me of "The Longest Day".
In the movie however only a few of them perform. Hema Malini, to begin with is perhaps the widest chink in the entire cast. The director was wise enough to have made her character a South Indian woman married to a Punjabi, otherwise she would have found herself in the shoes of Katrina Kaif in an undubbed performance.
Manoj Bajpai 's character is a character devoid of reasonableness and logic. Vindictive without reason and malignant without cause. He couldn't have done any better than he did in the movie to play this role.
Kiron Kher redoes her type cast role of a concerned mother sans the usual jocular vibes.
Amitabh Bachchan does a great job of playing a true Rural Punjabi Patriarch showcasing brilliant linguistic skills and body language. For me the best actor in the movie.
Anupam Kher was also good as the cold and conniving lawyer who is also arrogant .
Boman Sahab. He is a fine actor. I like him.
The show stealer however was Aditya Chopra for giving us an extremely ordinary story, poor screenplay and top it all the shallow, amateurish poem (devoid of rhyme and meter) recited by Shahrukh in a most unconvincing manner at the end of the movie.
All in all a movie which was made to celebrate the director's historic career , but which hardly leaves a good impression.

This Story is very awesome. Makes an Indian to feel proud of himself! We go abroad, earn lot of money live splendid lifestyle. But what about India, where we came from. We should in fact come back and do something for our country.
The Song - " Yeh Jo Desh Hai Tera. (Sharukh Khan) is so emotional. I like it very much. It will take out tears if u listen it carefully.
In the acting department, Shah Rukh after a long time has given a genuine performance. The star in him is not highlighted much, but he has made a real effort to be the character Mohan who genuinely feels for his country. Kudoos to him. Githa, as his spirited romantic liaison has given a convincing performance regarding that it is her debut film and that too with a superstar. The rest of the cast including the gamut of characters have given adequate support.
This movie is one of my favourites!
I still wonder , Why did this not HIT on Indian cinema ?

The movie is a gem. Its another symbol of the maturing bollywood industry. May be its about time the industry took more risks and attempt at unconventional movies like this.
For me, the movie worked well in all departments. The patriotic bit, the direction BYTE, the editing BYTE, the acting bits etc.. :) And, I hope that this movie provides some food for thought to the corrupt (well, I know thats a lesser word, but let it be) administrators in Indian sports bodies. And to the people out there, remember people like Dhyanchand once again and may be produce more of such...
god bless India chak de India..

Priyadarshan who is known for movies like Hera Pheri (Excellent) , Garam Masal (Entertaining) , Kyon Ki (touching). Works with SRK for the first time. Promos looked promising etc, but i guess the movie lacked a soul.
Billu was just boring from starting to ending, SRK was busy promoting himself as a big star in the movie, although that is what the role demanded.. I was just getting tired of the filmposters and scenes from all his other movies, they should have come up with something innovative here. SRK had a superstar attitude throughout the whole movie except the last 10 minutes. Irfan Khan shines again, the amazing actor manages to perform really well in this bad written flick too, that is what an actors job is after all, very good Irfan! Lara doesn't have much scope, 10 minutes all together? or 20 maybe! SRK proves that he is a very commercial producer, and uses his celebrity friends for item songs so that the promos look cool. Kareena Kapoor sure looked good in Marjaani, Deepika looked OK, and Priyanka did a good job. Though the songs were horribly misplaced in the movie.
Irfans kids in the movie do a great job, they were natural. Songs by pritam are of course a very big hit. They are all great, Marjaani, Love Mera Hit Hit, Khudaiya Khair/You get me rocking and reeling. Superb.
