The show works because of the dynamic between Lucifer and Chloe and good supporting characters. Tom Ellis was born to play this role and he plays it like that. This show fulfills the requirements of a person looking for drama, comedyor supernatural show.

Sex Education is a British comedy series by Netflix. it follows the story of a sexually awkward teenager named Otis. Otis has his adventures with Eric, his best friend who is gay. In school he meets a girl Maeve, who realizes that the duo can make money by using Otis' knowledge on sex and relationships which he gets from his sex therapist mom. The show makes for an exciting ride which never takes a dull turn. The show is a very good coming-of-age experience.

The Boys is an American superhero web series by Amazon Prime. It is based on the comic books of same name. The show is set in a universe where superheroes exist and are managed by one company. They are celebrities with a lot of influence. But they hide a dark secret, they are corrupt and are double-faced. Billy Butcher (Karl Urban) forms a team to take down corrupt heroes and expose them to the world. The show has a dark tone which is in sync with the comics. The action is gory which is amazing. The thing about this show is it will be loved by both the sections of audience, one which likes superheroes and the other, which doesn't. The acting is top notch and all the actors bring their A-Game. Highly recommended.

Leila is an Indian thriller web series by Netflix. It is an adaptation of Prayaag Akbar’s 2017 novel based in a dystopian totalitarian India of 2047 where Joshi and his goons command ‘Aryavarta’ and the society is divided into ‘haves’ and ‘have nots’. To remain pure, individuals are not supposed to mingle outside their ‘communities’ and restrict themselves in tightly sealed ‘sectors’ that are bordered by high walls. Outside these walls lie the ‘bastis’ or ‘slums’ where the poor are left to suffer. The six episodes follow Shalini’s (played by Huma Qureshi) search for her daughter Leila who is forcibly snatched away for being ‘mishrit’ (or mixed, born to a Muslim father and Hindu mother). The world of Aryavarta starkly displays an autocratic state. Themes of surveillance, water crisis, pollution, riots and authoritarianism are glimpsed throughout; too close to reality than one would like to admit. They almost resemble a grimier version of India. The series must be commended upon showing society a mirror and issuing a warning of sorts of a possible future. Siddhartha as Bhanu, Huma Qureshi as Shalini and Arif Zakaria as Iyer are compelling in their roles and succeed at making an impression. The series excels at extracting an array of emotions from the viewer, ranging from repulsion to fear. Certain episodes seem to be rushed with numerous things happing at once but at the end of the day, Leila does what it had intended to. It depicts if tyranny is left unchecked then the consequences can be grave.

Dil Hi Toh Hai is an India romantic drama series by ALT Balaji. It follows the story of a family and the evolution of relationships in it. Apart from some of the characters, there is nothing in this show which differentiates it from those old saas-bahu daily soaps. The show feels like a recycled product, same old formula set in modern time. The acting is a big let-down and over dramatization of every scene doesn't help it either. The show has that trademark Ekta Kapoor vibe of family drama. This will appeal to only a section of viewers and will be unbearable to the rest of them.

Dishaheen Navyuva Helpline For Clueless Millennials is an Indian comedy series by Arre. It's a show where a family acts as a helpline for millennials who have millennial problems. The format of the show is promising but fails to deliver, despite having a great cast, the show feels a let-down because of underwhelming writing. Padmini Sardesai is the pick of the actors, the completely steals the show and is hilarious. The humor doesn't really work. Despite all the flaws, it is watchable for it's duration of 6 minutes an episode.

Only for Singles is an Indian comedy series by MX Player. The show is about a group of friends who are struggling financially and struggling to get accommodation. The show has a strightforaward plot and relies on situational comedy which pretty good. The 18+ tag is just to include more steamy situations and get a laugh out of it which works fine for the series. The cast is pretty good and characters fit in the show very well. The show is light-hearted fun and can be enjoyed if you have nothing better to watch.
