If only RGV had cast a known bollywood star/face for the protagonist role(the current one was too much into 'ishtyle') , this movie would have got eyeballs it deserves. Typical RGV movie with brilliant background score. Good work by actors who played Veerappan, and lisa rey.

The biggest supervillain for these CBM movies are the plethora of movies themselves.

Factually Incorrect. Lacks conflict.
This 'biopic' about such a controversial incident lacks the most important thing ie 'conflicts'.
Factually incorrect at many places and lacking any teeth, this turns out to be a usual 90rs morning- show escape from sweltering Indian summer.
They could have brought out what happened inside the dressing rooms(not just name taking but real conversations among the players who did not support Azhar), could have ventured into Hansie Cronje's death in a suspicious flight crash, the Indian captaincy jugglery during the end 90's and arrival of the next team India brigade led by Dada and Azhar and much more but they chose to give footage to Nargis Fakhiri which ain't a bad value proposition either ;)
